ОтветитьI believe it. I lost about 30lbs in 7 months by just walking while traveling Europe and living in NZ. I now live in NYC and love that I can walk everywhere. I am currently doing PT for a knee injury from years ago and have to limit my walking and I'm going nuts because that was my main source of exercise. I did get more into weight training, pilates, and learning calisthenics and it's nice and all, but I feel like I'm just losing my mind without walking like I used to. Now, I do a little above my average gaol, which is 6k and most times less than that, which is why it's driving me nuts since I used to get through 20k steps in a day and 30k if I'm lucky. I swear by walking and recommend it to everyone IK. It's usually more interesting walking outside, but whatever works for anyone.
ОтветитьI do enjoy walking a lot and if I don’t feel like getting that jog in I definitely will go for a walk, way more relaxing and I can really take a look at everything around me. The thing I enjoy the most about running (fairly new to running at 25) is that feeling of accomplishment when I’m done and my shirt is soaked and I feel like I can accomplish anything. That being said some days a walk is a little easier to get myself into 😂
ОтветитьWould walking in place work, it's something I've adopted walking in place because I play a lot of videos for (not proudly) hours on end, I average 10,000-12,000 a day (only slack to 9000-6,000 when I am forced to sit down after school, the max I've made (when walking in place relatively fast) 30,000 steps
ОтветитьI mean running like that for a whole year doesnt seem that hard for soccer players like me im 13 and i do soccer sport i have prcatice every day except the weekends the weekends i have games and after my practice i got to the gym for abs work out its not that hard i alresdy have abs but im just saying to do sports and get in a calorie deficit

ОтветитьI’m thinking of starting this, with my work, I do around 17k-21k steps a day and i’ve started calorie counting which has already started to work, I manage to lose around 360 calories a day so I’m hoping this actually kickstarts the fat to drop!

ОтветитьFor 16lbs a year that’s a lot of running at a fairly decent speed. Very hard on joints
ОтветитьAccording to the health app I’m averaging 7290 steps/day this year. I clear 10000 when I’m at work and hardly move in days off. It probably helps that I walk to work and back 😂

ОтветитьBeen boxing for 2 months now all the fat is gone from all over my body aside from the belly, sick of seeing my top half of my abs but not the bottom two. Gonna give this a go for sure. Mind you I was at least 30 pounds over weight, lost a ton of fat and look super healthy now compared to two months ago. Boxing is nothing but cardio and conditioning so got that covered but I don't strength train thinking about picking that up at a gym.

ОтветитьThis is not true at all. I work in a warehouse where people walk 7km average in 8-10hours. Abd still most of them have big belly.
Wasted 9 mints of my life to only get to know that you should walk. What a joke is this.? This is not a solution.
Nobody has a that much long life where he can loos belly fat by walking only.
This might sound like an excuse but that's a little bit difficult to do in Texas when it's 119° outside everyday. I find it much easier to do cardio in the cooler months
