Camille has made a huge impact on my daughter.

She saw the official video for this song and immediately started looking up lyrics so she could sing along and is trying to learn how to perform screams and gutturals so she can "nail the heaviest part at the end."

She's 10 years old, sings, and took dance classes until a couple of years ago.

She saw herself in Camille and ran with it.

This is why we need more women (and people of color) in Metal.

Novelists was an amazing band, and then they lost their singer and then made deja vu, and that album/collection of songs was so boring and generic. I’m sooo glad they switched it up here. This is so unique and stands out. I can’t get enough of this song

Embrace the change guys, if you don´t dig it, go back being generic and lame but stop trying to get old times back. bands need to change and adapt and risk stuff and Camille is a great plus to the band.

Camille's voice and melodies are so poppy that it feels fresh in combination with the 'metalcore' sound. I'm very curious to see where Novelists go from here!

I’m seeing a lot of negativity on the Novelists Facebook directed at Camille and it’s honestly bullshit. Not only is she clearly talented but the song is good. To the People saying it doesn’t sound like novelists… what the fuck are you even on about? The vibes and solos and tone and everything could come straight from noir.

Just feel bad for the band, Camille included, if they have to see any negativity from fake fans who need to go touch fuckin grass.

I love the new style musically. Camille is cute, has a catchy voice and brings great vibes to the band. There's still a bit to go in her vocal development but there's a lot of potential here! Keep it up :)
