sir Dexter I am a subscriber to you for a long time but I am trying to breed but I need male betta

Dexter, they paid you for your promoting that certain Brands of fish food ( which are basically all the same with minor difference between them) for nothin cause we cant even read that language and that wont be available here anyway. Heres my tip after +30y Betttas. No live or frozen food and esp not from a pond- you WILL drag in disease, parasites, you name it. Raise your own Artemia or buy freeze-dried bloodworms, Artemia, Krill ( Krill is very good and has all important macro and micro nutrients, dont skip Krill). Cattapa leaves, ec 0.2- 0.3,ph 6-7.temp 26 Degree Celsius, up it to 28-29 if you must breed them. ( they are so overbred already, back to Plakat!!! Although long fins have their place).
Heater, SLOW Filter ( that is very important. The real pros dont use any but if you can get those with adjustable flow, do! Whole Tank through Filter 1-2 times a hour and no moving water top. The filtration is much better when slow too. You (should) know ammonium- nitrite- nitrate and be able to test accurately. No test strips!!!! In vitro plants only, again, you dont want to drag in disease with the new plant. Leave all the sponge bob, castle, skull crap OUT. They give off toxic substance to the water even if package says not. They do! And keep it covered, Bettas breath air and it should be warm above the water or they gonna die fast. Feed them a peeled pea once in a while but this is just the basics. Much fun 🙂
