It needs very little work! Just cleaning, painting, update a few things and landscaping. The floors and stairs are beautiful.

Oh gosh, watching as a second generation Asian...the microphones are none other than for karaoke! LOL. The red envelope in the box near the entrance in the beginning is for lucky envelopes, usually given at Chinese New Year or major life events i.e.) marriage, birthdays, etc. The ultra rich Chinese from China are usually very materialistic, so not surprised to see the Ferrari and Rolex watch box. The stuff in the fridge are Chinese herbs used to make soup. Good job on identifying the rice flour, we usually use those to make desserts or steamed pastries. That is not a tiny bowl in the cupboard, it's a mini teacup. The cat circle stand is very common to find in traditional households. The secondary kitchen is for the extreme Chinese cooking when you have to heat up the wok to high heat (and mix in oil, garlic, onions, green onions etc..) so it keeps the smell out and the grease. Hence the normal looking kitchen when you first walked in, usually the rich will build a home with two kitchens - the main, then a hidden one in the corner. We love our the traditional Chinese calendars and love to grow veggies in the back garden. The red incense is to honour our ancestors (looks like there was a shrine there before). The round looking stones above the fireplace is called "Baoding balls" to be used in one hand for physical exercise and therapy. Baoding balls are used by rotating two or more balls repeatedly in the hand. Intended to improve finger dexterity, relax the hand, or aid in the recovery of muscle strength and motor skills after surgery, Baoding balls work similarly to Western stress balls. Judging by the old photo in the bathroom, the couple looked like Chinese Mainlanders.

Could be sold off as China is in a "recession" right now and the rich Chinese usually have ties to the Communist Party of China (CCP). I'm guessing the CCP stopped giving them money or wanted to take their earnings. Male model/actor could just be a fake front as a lot of the ultra rich Chinese are insanely corrupt and will funnel dirty money and invest into properties in the West. If this mansion was from money off the backs of the poor people, that would be so sad. Alot of middle class have lost their life savings due to investing in properties in China. The property investors will take their money and launder it to the West.
