Hi Mits! It’s been a moment since I’ve commented, but have been watching. Hope you and your family are well!

So happy your video popped up just as I was sitting down to do my own random journaling. Talk about perfect timing! I have 3 things I love do do in my alone time: 1) Swimming 2) Cooking and 3) Journaling about my swimming and cooking

I’m slowly coming back to journaling again, as I had to back away from FOMO. I am finally content in what I have and using what I have stored for so long. The quote about doubt and failure you mentioned really spoke to me and so I wrote it in my ‘Random musings’ passport insert, so I could reflect on it more. I do love using the pockets that come with the sticker kit, even if I don’t put anything in it. As always, thank you for sharing and holding space for those that need another to journal with 😊💜

Lovely journaling time. It’s so amazing how you can write that quote, just winging it and it looks great! 😍 impressive!

Hi Mits I wanted to appreciate this whole video (as always) but especially the light gentle music whilst you were journaling so that I could still hear the scratching of your pen on the paper - which is also music to my ears.

It was lovely that you got to supervision the children’s’ play time at a time when you could also collect Sakura flowers. I pressed my first flowers in February, from my friend’s garden and they were also the first Sakura blooms from the little tree. I also picked them off the ground.

I really liked your story about not shaking trees. I have alway felt a connection to trees, appreciating how they shelter me from too much sunlight/harmful UV rays and providing good clean oxygen to breathe. I had a favourite tree I visited in my lunch break when I worked at Regent’s Park in London and always felts a sense of peace and able to switch off from a crazy day for a moment when I was there. I would great the tree as a friend with my hand on its trunks (like a handshake) when I arrive and another to say thanks and farewell when I left. It was a horrible place to work but tree always made the day better when I had a chance to get to it. I guess it was a sort of meditation and therapy for me (sometimes I wondered if people thought me mad, if they could see), I would talk to the tree asking how it was and how it’s day was going and telling it about mine. They were private ground behind the private college and the main park and noisy main road were just on the other side of a fence.

On a separate note, in case it is of interest to you, I alway put the band a page before or after the staples so they do not cut or wear away at the rubber.

A favourite quote I heard on a Korean drama (Marry my Husband)… failure is the mother of success. - reminds me to keep going when I am struggling because I will get there. I’ve been saving my quotes on my Google calendar as I can’t decide which book to put them in and I also really want an onion skin journal but haven’t found one that ships to U.K. I will have to get the paper and make my own!! Varsha 😂🙏🏽🫶🏽🖋🫖🍵

I love your journaling videos ❤ About the photo printer: if its zinc paper, it's a thermal print so it tends to not last as long as regular prints...on my experience they get blurry with time (I do live in a country where there is a lot of heat and humidity).
Those portable printers where the paper comes with a small ink cartridge have prints that last longer.

I really wish the pockets worked better in the customised sticker sets! I’ve had 4 years worth and not one of them has stuck properly!! I’m glad you got one to work!

My 96 year old grandfather had beautiful handwriting even at his age. So a couple of years ago, I asked him to write me something. He was so sweet and wrote me 2 notebooks worth of 'quote for the day" that he had collected and remembered in his years. I'm so grateful I have it in his memory.. ❤

My favourite quote is festinatio tarda est. Or may be it's like a motto to me. Reminds me I don't have to rush when doing anything. When I go slow and thoughtfully about the things I do then I do them better and don't have to make corrections or even start over! Love your journal with me videos so much! 🌸
