What I would say, if you are going to Japan soon, the yen is so weak, I booked the Shinkansen tickets in advance on Klook but it actually cost me about £40 more than it should have done, I would have been better to book once I had arrived in Japan and pay in yen

I'm doing it all wrong! Usually we book flight in and flight out and hotel for first few nights snd just wing it from there...
We are also thinking about Sapporo ice festival in Feb...🥶 My college roommate has been trying to plan this trip from 2020.

Excellent updates!! Also the passport entry requirements for American citizens to Japan is a valid passport for the duration of the stay. Say you're going next week for 7 days, as long as your passport is valid for that time period, you're OK. Google "US state dept-Japan travel" to confirm these requirements. Take care!

Wow 45 USD for 4 week insurance? Is that how much travel insurance costs for Americans? That's very pricey. My annual travel insurance is 55 euros.

Enjoy the snpw festival. It's my favourite festival in Japan. Not sure if already went to the Hokkaido historic village, if not I can highly recommend it.

I thought vacationing was supposed to be stress free and relaxing. Now it is too much and I'm all stressed out 😢 I need a personal assistant to take care of my planning 😊
