Here, Hoyle also selected the Labour amendment, but then according to the rules he decided that had to be debated first. Thus totally hijacking the SNPs opposition day. What he should have done is say in keeping with standing order 31 we’ll debate and vote on the original SNP motion, then the next largest party, Labours motion and finally, the governments amendment.

I have no sympathy for the SNP. They are a bunch of antisemites as far as I'm concerned. If they HAD studied history they would know that Palestine has had multiple opportunities for peace and they have said no every single time. What makes you think this time will be any different?
