How To Convert MP4 to MP3 with VLC Media Player

did not work. followed exact instructions

issue im having is vlc has some sort of filter that detects skips and things, and the audio in my video repeats so it assumes its skipping and crams it all together

you should say in the profile box, change it too Audio mp3 I had to watch a better vid to get it.

in the destination file I can't change the mp4 to mp3, not sure what why.

What a coincidence. Just recently I found if you drag-and-drop an MP4 file into Audacity it loads the audio track ready for editing.

If you don't have VCL, how can you change your MP4 videos into MP3?
