Ответить11/24/2023 My Orthopedic sent these exercises to me after diagnosing me with frozen shoulder. I have been doing them for 5 days, and there is a remarkable difference. Pain is so much better and mobility is much improved. Thank you so much for providing this. It is greatly appreciated. ❤

ОтветитьDr Jo, can I ask a question? I have developed shoulder pain on both shoulders at the same place. It's not under the arm, but on top side of the shoulder, at the joint. It is causing pain on movement forwards and back, but not so much to the side. My movement is only restricted by pain, not adhesions, so I push through it as I don't want to get frozen shoulder.
I also have pain across the back of my neck, and the front of my chest (right at the top - not just collarbone but right across). I'm assuming this isn't Frozen Shoulder? Do you know what it could be?
I do have Long Covid and a lot of pain with that and also with fibromyalgia and cervical spondylosis, but this pain doesn't feel like any of those conditions. I thought I'd injured my left shoulder somehow, but now I have the identical pain in the right one! Any advice would be appreciated!!

ОтветитьHi, I love your frozen shoulder stretches? Any suggestions on more advanced conditioning. I have most my mobility back, but am struggling with hanging straight on a rig (which I used to be able to do). My shoulder still feels restrictive in this position.

ОтветитьHi. I am recovering from the rotator cuff surgery 1month now. I am doing my passive physio and really hard to elevate my arm more than 100 dgree. And external rotation is just over 15 degree.
Is that means I develop the post op complications like frozen shoulder? Or just normal process of post op stiffness?
I have pain at night sleeping and during the day is not bad.
This is the best video i have found to help with my perimenopause frozen shoulder, this is helping a lot, thank you💪

ОтветитьI broke mu humerus in three parts five weeks ago figure skating. Doctor said it looks great and start with passive movement and then progress. Since I have had frozen shoulder before in both arms he will see me back in six weeks from now. Are any of these too agressive for a such a fracture? Do I need to wait til 8 weeks?

ОтветитьI knew I was in trouble when I started using my other arm to lift my frozen one. First day of exercise and some I couldn't do. My arm is like dead weight pass my shoulder. But I did some of them. The flank on my back hurts just from 6little minutes. It's sad. I hope to do the video every day. I hope I will have process to share. Thank you for sharing
ОтветитьI'm still in the freezing stage, so much of this is painful. Should I just do, but then stop when it starts to hurt? I don't have this kind of range of movement.

ОтветитьI came across your video 5 years ago when I developed a frozen shoulder. These exercises were way too painful so I didn't do them. Two months later my shoulder froze completely and then it took 6 months of intensive physical therapy to get better. Now I'm developing frozen shoulder for the other shoulder, so I'm back here. These exercises are much needed, sooner or later, when we can tolerate the pain, we got to do them to get better.

ОтветитьHi Doc Jo, can this exercise fix a frozen shoulder I have had for 7 years (it was from an accident 7 years ago)? If I do movements these past years it's limited and if I stretch them out too much I feel my neck and shoulder blade moving as well (compared to my other shoulder that doesn't strain my neck and shoulder blade) :( ... need some help. ОтветитьHello. With your last stretch shown, should I be concerned with intense pain under the acromion while performing this stretch. My PT has me doing it on a table while sitting. But same exact exercise with thumb pointed up using a towel to improve sliding. I had a subacromial decompression with bone spur removal. Infraspinatus full thickness tear(repaired), labral debridement and AC joint was resected. Thank you Jamie McFarland PTA

ОтветитьI have poor shoulder rmobility post-fractured scapula immobilisation. Adding the weight to the pendulum exercises has made a huge difference to my mobility development. Thanks for the suggestion!

ОтветитьI’ve just developed frozen shoulder and the pain is severe, I have almost no range of movement unassisted and I can’t move without pain. I’m waiting to see a physio but I want to get on top of this as quickly as possible. Is it safe to do these exercises even if it hurts? I don’t want to make it worse.

ОтветитьThanks Dr. Jo! I'm not really sure if this is frozen shoulder I'm experiencing but I do have problems with ROM in my shoulders especially upon waking up. These exercises indeed help and I'm doing these every day upon getting up.
