I don't understand a lick of Greek aside from whatever loanwords found their way into English and probably a decent pronunciation of the Greek alphabet (loanword!). That being said, there is some quality to this music that just rocks me, the same way Heilung and Wardruna do. The cultures may be worlds apart, but they share the same primordial Aryan root, and I think somehow that is what we tap into when we come across music like this that transcends language and time. Music from other places is often pleasant to listen to, but nothing hits me quite like the European Spark does.
