im a simple man. i just need a 2 stroke 125 cc sx125 and im happy for life. easy rebuild, cheap, fun…
ОтветитьPistons could be breakaway when stop or start engine
ОтветитьThinking experimental aircraft motor! How many rpm’s does it cruise at?
ОтветитьOpposed piston engines are nothing new. Napier Deltic and Commer spring to mind, both super charged! Although they are both diesel engines there is no reason they wouldn't work with alternative fuels like LP gas, petrol or hydrogen. Admittedly this looks like a smaller neater package.
ОтветитьHow are the pistons attached to the engine???
ОтветитьThere are 2 valves net cylinder 😊
ОтветитьI cant wait for the octaganal 16 😂
ОтветитьThis would be excellent for a motorcycle
Ответитьthe mechanic who in the future has to change the headgasket for this thing or do any other service that requires the disassembly is going to cry so hard:D
ОтветитьI absolutely love your, " that's really great but wait just a minute buddy" attitude towards design claims and the like. A very humble but well educated and honest matter of fact approach and comment. Nice video as usual.
ОтветитьWavy thing =camming disk/linear crankshaft alternative 😁
ОтветитьEngineering Explained did a video about opposing piston Diesel engines, where he said that three cylinders is the most efficient. I wonder whether this design is also possible with three cylinders.
ОтветитьThat be great engine for air compressed instead of fuel so the compressed air sends the pistons down
ОтветитьTo charge batteries in maritine applications a stirling engine is most likely a lot better, efficiency and noise level wise.
ОтветитьThis will likely have the same problem as the 2 stroke engine, it will burn very dirty and new emissions regulations will prevent this engine from ever being mass produced.
Ответитьgood!素晴らしい。
ОтветитьInteresting, collection of old ideas joined together.
ОтветитьMy knowledge is limited, also, my english bad but, did he say anything about engine oil? I curiously waited for that part to come but..
Ответитьitts a 1 stroke if it fires every time
ОтветитьWavy thing is a swash plate.
ОтветитьBasically is still a 2 stroke
ОтветитьHow does it compare to liquid piston and omega engines?
ОтветитьThe last engine from the plain is really nonsense. There are 60cc twostroke engines (simson) who produce 22 horsepower
ОтветитьWay is so difficult for humans to understand that your species is on the brink of extinction because of your destructive behavior and arrogance against each other. They're not happy with humans anymore
ОтветитьThe inngine's high ability to achieve high compression rates makes it a good candidate for burning ammonia as fuel. It is not easy but it has great potential to drastically reduce C02 emissions. In Japan, GAC and Toyota are investing a good amount of money in this technology.
ОтветитьWhat is the price
ОтветитьThis would be great on a motorcycle, they should have made it for two wheeled vehicles.
ОтветитьI love your explanation of different engine designs. Thank you!
ОтветитьIt seems like it would be really good paired with an electric motor in a hybrid system with maybe some kind of clutched flywheel. That would give it all of the torque you could ever want. 😀
ОтветитьI really don't see the point of comparing this new engine with the conventional one using these criteria: I don't see the problem of having more cylinders or having less power than a 2 stroke engine if the quantity of components, weight and dimensions of the thing is reduced to the minimum. Less components means less potential failures. The only way to compare these completely different layouts is to consider materials used and quantity (therefore cost), total number of components, fuel efficiency, mechanical reliability, easiness of general maintenance. Then we have something to discuss
ОтветитьWould it help to add a fly wheel for steady continuous use.
ОтветитьIt has a lidle piston, 1going up. 2And down. Step1 step2 its a 2 stork AC combustet engine.
And it has much more parts working synchronised than a 4 stork engine.
Keep the engine simple, the repaircost are to high for things like that, and the technicians to stuppid to repair something like that. Keep it of the market.
New technology will only be adopted once people are culturally ready to do so
ОтветитьPut her in a bike! That would be cool. Might be a weird one off but it would definitely be an impressive bike if done right
ОтветитьHear me out, 120 down the hwy on your motorcycle with this playing. Big W.
Ответитьit is a hyperbolic paraboloid. otherwise known as a pringle
ОтветитьImprovise on the Gear Ratios and high performance parts . Additionally , i can see there are still many rooms to tweak for performance , such as redesign the rotating base to minimal as such to reduce weight and recarved which help more on tolerance and expansion . Recommended titanium base , performance forged pistons , 4 pcs of ceramic bearings for each piston. Titanium iridium spark plugs .Lastly add on a turbo-charged and high-end tubing and hose insulation.
Few months ago I did repair my water jet and saw similar to this engine. 😅
Diesel? how's the power transferred?
ОтветитьPeak torque at high rpms is ideal for an engine driving generators since the size of a generator of a given power goes down as rpms goes up. As such this type of engine would work great as a range extender in a PHEV. And in this use there is no issue with power coming out of both ends of the engine, just put a generator on each output shaft. Also it would work well in a stationary generator set, especially one that work in parallel with a solar and/or wind system with a largish battery storage system. The generator could be set to only operate at the peak efficiency condition and charge the battery pack with any surplus power. And when the batteries are fully charge, the generator could be shut off until the batteries are partially discharged.
Ответитьit is a 1 stroke engine...
ОтветитьAny chance you could talk about how the wankle and the liquid piston compare to each other?
ОтветитьFairbanks Morse FTW
ОтветитьWaiting for this to in a motorcycle
ОтветитьA naïve question, how is the correct rotation direction is ensured on start?
ОтветитьManufacturers and inventors ought to have this man evaluate their product and marketing. Great and informative video. Thank you.
ОтветитьI feel like if they didn't exaggerate and market the hell out of it people wouldn't even look at it, especially when moving away from internal combustion entirely
ОтветитьA Rotary Motor is Electric. No pistons no Oil no Gaz no exhaust. Electricity from my Rooftop Solar Panels. Ready to Go. Wuling EV Car Cost 4500 dollar.
Ответить(why are you whispering? is this tagged ASMR?)
