Although this is very lovely, the vibe is too much like Lana DelRey. It sounds just like her. It's the same voice, same vibe, same energy, same dark romanctic everything. It's not distinctive. It's good but like I said, it's derivative.

It's also copy-cattish in another way: Every generation has to wash, rinse and repeat the same themes and ideas – about nostalgia for example, as seen in this song and video. Now, it's true that we all have the same feelings and emotions that all ppl have in all generations – w/ the human struggle, etc. However, no one ever seems to be able to take an old idea or theme and bend it a bit to offer something unique w/ it – like a lesson learned or something more insightful that grows out of it. This would be the wiser approach.

But Suki is still quite young so she will need more time on her side to take to this kind of songwriting but even then, her voice is not distinctive enough. If I had listened to this w/ a blind ear, & hadn't know it was Suki, I would have thought it was Lana Delrey!
