I think Illusioner would be amazing given its added with its Minecraft Dungeons design and behaviour. It’s unused Java one is kinda eh though, as it doesn’t actually become one of the clones but goes completely invisible so the clones are just there.

Should take the place of a clone instead, not just go invisible. It’s unused likely because it hasn’t been fleshed out enough in the base game and is currently very annoying (not fun/challenging annoying, just annoying annoying) to fight.

I Think I Can See Why They Scrapped It, Because Having A Mini-Boss That Can Duplicate Itself And Can See You Through Walls Is Too Overpowered, And The Ravager Is Already Perfect For It. They Could Add A Special Structure For The Illusioner Though

Fun fact: this mob was actually supposed to be added in an update And notch sent it to one of his friends to try out, but soon the friend found weird things like floating cactuses he spawned the mob but it looked weird. It was a glitched out weird colorful mob that’s called the glitch or error422 after the mob touched him his whole Minecraft account got glitched and very weird he couldn’t leave but he eventually found a way to leave and now it’s an abandoned version of Minecraft lost in Minecraft history

If Mojang Adds This They Should Make Sure That No Mobs Attack The Player That Aren't Part Of The Fight

Fact: if you summon an illusioner without its bow, it’ll give the target mob the blindness effect and duplicate himself, but it won’t chase or attack them.

The illusioner could be found in "a" on a different minecraft version. "20w14" then an infinite sign you could find the dimension by throwing a book that says "a' in the portal.
