How to Repair or Restore the Windows Recovery Environment WINRE | Fix ReAgentC errors in Windows 10

worked for fix 0x80070643 error , trying to install KB5034441 19/01/24

Helped me understand how to troubleshoot and properly recreate the recovery partition. Was about to get KB5034441 installed successfully with the info in this video/description.

The GOAT

In my case reagentC was enabled, recovery partition was created as intended, so I went to try the winre (win+x and restart) and during pc boot it would stuck at "please wait" screen. It would not enter the winRE. So I guess something is wrong with the boot path. So my solution was to disable reagentc, then delete the reagent.xml file and re run reagentc /enable so it creates the xml with the correct paths. I would recommend re checking the recovery GUID to be the same between the OS ''recovery sequence" and in the identifier in the "windows recovery environment" using the bcdedit /enum all command

After i did this, i could only boot from windows boot manger/mp600 and my original drive mp600 where os is installed. But if i only mp600 as boot it will not boot and will say os system is not on this drive, but with windows boot manger/mp600 it will boot

But after boot and loaded windows, i try download battlefield 5 which i about 90gb, 5 mins in it will bsod and say memory management. And restart .

My friends PC won't allow him to restart or even factory reset he's stuck in recovery mode, and when he tries to do anything it doesn't let him and gives him no reason for as of why, would you happen to know why?

My problem its more weird cause i have created the recovery partition and have reagentc/ enabled and show its correct but when i go to recovery mode and try any option the pc show a black screen and reboot, but dont enter in the mode that i chose.

Thanks, I migrated my windows to different drive and suddenly my windows recovery environment stopped booting at all (Window itself was running fine though)

It didn’t work for me. It showed operational successful, however, nothing changed. An option even disappeared from my advanced settings in the boot menu. EDIT; ANYONE WHO HAS THE PROBLEM ABOVE, just restart and it should be fine.

I need help now pls if they write operation successful what do I do next?
