Excellent work! 👏
ОтветитьClassic
ОтветитьAny chance you'll come back to doing these?
ОтветитьDagon ball
ОтветитьMakes you wonder what he was smoking while he wrote these stories and how bad were his personal 'demons'?
ОтветитьMike Bennett is the best at reading Lovecraft
ОтветитьDagon the sea demi- God ,... It's Torah
ОтветитьThat was a beautiful first introduction to H.P.Lovecraft - seriously, I've never read his work and may never have, had I not been drawn into it by the art. The combination of beautiful illustrations and a captivating reading straight out of a 1930's radio broadcast was a memorable moment and earned an instant subscription.
Ответитьwhy tf would bro leave the ship he literally said himself that the germans were chill
Ответить"I am writing this under an appreciable mental strain, since tomorrow I shall be no more..."
Every other H.P. lovecraft 'Protagonist': JOIN THE CLUB, PAL!
Unfortunately this isn't fiction really. Dagon begat baal
ОтветитьLovecraft has to be one of the most overrated writer ever
ОтветитьI ever asked myself what drove Lovecraft to write such stories. He could have written about every topic but it was those monstrous visions of hopelessness and insanity what brought him to the ink. Makes me think.
ОтветитьMehrunes Dagon?
Ответитьfunny how Lovecraft writes that something is indescribable and then proceeds to describe it.
regardless, excellent reading and illustrations!
I know JRR Tlkien was a WWI veteran who endured a lot, but I never knew he met Dagan himself.
ОтветитьWait if he wants to find the missing ocean why did he head towards the mountain ?
ОтветитьNicely done all around. 😱. Thank you! 👍🏻😎
ОтветитьVery well read and illustrated but the story is long winded (even though it's less than 20 minutes) and boring. I bought most HPL books/short story compilations long ago and quickly found that they were either highly predictable (having been copied many times) or boring or both. I stopped reading them after having gone through four of them and predicted the ending in the first few pages. Sometimes the journey is worth it...Not in this case.
ОтветитьGreat production, thank you very much
ОтветитьWe need this for Underwood & Flinch.
Ответитьthere is a really good game done on this short story, IGP did a gameplay on that one,
ОтветитьJjk reference?
ОтветитьPlease do alien out of the shadows audio drama.
And Project Hail Mary
I wish someone would animate all of his work . Howard too.
ОтветитьIllustration is gorgeous.
ОтветитьOf their faces and forms I dare not speak in detail...
Proceeds to describe them in detail.
Obviously mad.
Here comes my modern self-righteous viture signal.....
He was a racist.
Omg I need more.. NOW!
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьAn amazing reading, thank you!
ОтветитьStupid story but amazing artwork....
ОтветитьThis is truly amazing! The Lovecraftian vibes are so well captured!
ОтветитьA series of steps
ОтветитьWell done. I believe that he would be flattered by this.
ОтветитьThe narrator is boring af..i forget the plot every mins..
ОтветитьI remember reading this in English class ages ago,
I couldn't remember the name of the story but it definitely left an impression on me and hearing it again brings back memories
Shit lovecraft you are a fucking legend
ОтветитьHi, great video, I really like your illustrations. Can I ask you for the possibility of using them on my audiobook channel too? Can we get in touch for a collaboration?
ОтветитьSo, it's about a guy lost at sea, gets heat stroke and goes mad, then kills himself because he thinks monsters are after him? I guess the moral of the story is that the greatest monster is the human mind.
ОтветитьUtterly superb.
ОтветитьMy humble suggestion would be to add a bit of ominous music, just to tone in the atmosphere.
ОтветитьAm not sure why I always believe in what he saw cause nothing seems to be what it is
Ответитьbig fan of lovecrafty have been since very young this i loved and we need more of it it is good to see it out there i always said he was born to soon its sad he isnt here today imagine the things he would have told us
Ответитьat the end you can see me with 5k of bamba
ОтветитьMaster piece animation
ОтветитьI think a good voice to read these stories is the one at the end of the “mouth of madness” movie where the narrator is describing the monsters of the abyss.
ОтветитьAt no time did the illustration feature a “waning gibbous moon”. Alas, only a terrifying full moon reared its pale, foreboding likeness above that plain so bereft of astronomical sensibility.
ОтветитьThis was amazing.
ОтветитьThus is amazing please do more HP
