This is another episode I wish had some follow up. Just once at the end of every season do a flash on some of these patients. I worry that father didn't live much longer, the loss of his son would have pushed him over the edge or something. There's not always a happy ending and i appreciate the hell out of this show for that, but I have so many feelings after an episode like this I want more, even if it's to show the rest of the downward spiral he's in...

This actually happens btw. In Mexico, Peru, Brazil and Russia people find radioactive waste in the form of metal bits and bobs that look harmless, usually in rundown hospitals, old radio shacks or abandoned industrial parks. The results are always tragic

One of the biggest reasons I could never be a doctor is that I could never stand face-to-face with anyone and tell them that someone they loved is going to die and there's nothing we can do to stop it. The moment I saw that pain in their face I'd completely lose my composure.

This one really hits you because you know there’s plenty of things like this that happen all the time. A parent or a friend or family member gifts something they just find and think it’s cool and they’ll like it, only to find there’s something horribly wrong with it. It has to be a terrible feeling when you did something nice for someone you care about only to end up potentially killing them as a result.
