Isn’t there a mechanic about the weight of the contra ban vs the total weight stored?
ОтветитьScan jammers- like 4 of them, i carry my contraband everywhere. And being a pirate is best, everyone on kryx will buy your contraband.
ОтветитьI STRONGLY encourage you to do the Ryujin questline, not only is it one of the best quest lines in the game I've found thus far you also get a pretty OP skill you'd otherwise have to sink a LOT of points into the tree to get. This skill is pretty useful for pickpocketing and looting and you also get some decent stealth gear.
ОтветитьRed Mile ship services tech sells very big storage shielded cargo holds… you need to have starship design or something level 3 I believe
ОтветитьSo disappointed there is no money in Aurora. Considering all the risk and the limited ability to farm it.
ОтветитьThere’s debt collector jobs you can do for GalBank in New Jemisen. Felt that was a great start for making some solid Creds, and RPing a gangster. I am stuck between Neon doing my hood stuff, and going back to NJ for those jobs, AND manufacturing Aurora. Loving the RP route I took. Can’t wait to find more ways to be an absolute menace. Disciples gang taking over everything.
ОтветитьThe Ebbside Strikers was the most disappointing quest chain ever for me. I played as a gangster from Neon so when I met the strikers I was very excited. Finally a group/faction I can finally get behind! What's this they also have the coolest outfits in game, this is great! Only for everything to be ripped away two or three quests in they get invited to join the extremely corrupt Neon Security. The guy literally says he plans on using them as attack dog cannon fodder, and my only option to reply is "Wow! What an amazing opportunity!" So the strikers sell out and all I got was a cool outfit that I don't even want to wear anymore. I hope modders save the Strikers, why was their no option to invite the 5 of them join my crew instead of becoming punkass sellouts?
ОтветитьIs it just me or does it seem like contrabands price should vary based on how difficult it is to get to the buyer with it?
Like if I have to risk getting caught I should be getting paid a significant bonus compared to selling to someone in the unguarded system like the key or the den.
And there’s no real incentive to risk it. The Crimson Fleet offer smuggling missions which require you to sneak past the authorities but I kind of wish I could do it more freeform.
we will need to wait for diving and diving suit or submarine to i hope do funny stuff under water, i wish we could also kill bayu to steal his drug empire and become the king pin ourself
ОтветитьI think it's ridiculous how all stolen items get taken. Like how the fuck do they even know its stolen if your 20 billion YL away
ОтветитьWhere did that outfit come from?
ОтветитьCan one get perfect Aurora making? Tried many times and I only get sub-par. Perfect impossible?
ОтветитьIf you get caught stealing, smuggling and whatever you can always get your stuff back btw. Just take a walk around the station you ended up and crack the safes. Done, stuff back in your hands.
ОтветитьThere is a space station one can visit early on that never scans for contraband for those that want to sell contraband and not deal with scanners. I think it is called the Wolf Den in the Wolf system.
ОтветитьJumped to the New Atlantis planet without realizing I had aurora in my inventory so I quickly took the drugs before they finished scanning
ОтветитьI chose the Dream Home trait, and was able to safely & securely stash all of the contraband I came across right from the start. Now I have a sizable stockpile ready to offload once I make the right connections and max my Commerce Skill. ~400k in credits so far
ОтветитьThat suit looks like the NCR Ranger Armor
ОтветитьDoes the Contraband itself have to be within the Shielded capacity or does it count your entire cargo capacity?
ОтветитьI'm gonna make a Walter White build and sell Aurora, there's so many possibilities with this game that I can easily see myself still playing in ten years from now.
Ответитьi kinda wish there was a report system in this game instead of everyone just magically knows that you committed a privacy crime in space. for instances, before boarding or destroying a ship of any fraction, there should be some sort of message countdown timer - that if it counts down to 0, then the defending vessel will broadcasts a message stating that you, the player, are attacking them and therefore, a bounty is created under your name.
because currently rn, if you perform privacy in space, EVERYONE in the whole universe magically knows that you did it. and you may think its not an issue.. but it is.
the issue is that a lot of your main quests are done through planets that gets scanned upon grav jump - so that means that every time you enter a major city to do a quest, you'll either have to pay up the large bounty sum, or avoid those quest all together. You can choose to fight the authority, but that just means you're bounty goes up even more and most likely it'll be annoying to get to you're quests markers.
other issue is that the bounty cost is super high. for example, my first few crimson missions net me 39k. not knowing, i went to New Atlantis, only to be met with a 45k bounty! way more than what i made in the last 3 missions alone. and while in most games, you can just run away and never pay the bounty and forever be an outlaw -, i don't its possible in this game since most of your main quests stems from the lodge and there is no way you can sneak in and out of town.
This means that everytime you want to do the main quest, you have to pay you're bounty upon arrival. this sucks!
essentially what this means is that, if you want to partake in Crimson Fraction sides quests and still want to do the main storyline, DON'T. it's more trouble than its worth, and a lot of you're fee will just go straight into UC pockets whenever you enter a major hub city.
i wouldn't be so bothered by this if at least the main quests was in a neutral planet/territory, but currently, with the lodge being in new atlantis, being a pirate is just not worth it in terms of finances or fun because those earnings goes straight to UC.
If i am doing something wrong, then please tell me. but as of right now, its just not fun being a pirate when what it feels like 2/3rds of the universe's major cities automictically knows that you committed a crime light years away.
excelent video selection this and the sandbox overview were great
ОтветитьExactly what I need. I mean, if I was a thief/smuggler, which I'm not almost certainly. I love this no spoilers (skipped the Aurora section) so that I can get the mechanics of this if I did want to smuggle anything which I don't almost certainly. That way I'm not spending 5 or 10 minutes in the game cursing at some obvious game mechanic that I was too busy smuggle/thieving which I don't do almost certainly.
Based on this, when I get back from my vacation I'm going to buy Starfield and enjoy the heck out of it.
The crimson fleet base sells protected cargo as well as scan jammers. The deception skill will also help
ОтветитьLess talk bout how u get that outfit my boy !!!!!
ОтветитьIs there any way to sell your stuff for more than dirt cheap? I think Noel in the Lodge gives you good prices for organic resources, and Vladimir for the survey data, but I haven't found any other specialised merchants yet.
ОтветитьI haven’t played this yet but I definitely want to make a smuggler like Han Solo 😂
Ответитьsad. the criminal enterprise needs to be expanded.
ОтветитьWhat to do with Unprocessed Aurora? i finished the questline and i can craft Aurora now, but i have Unprocessed Aurora in my inventory and it sells for Zero credits. I can put it in the processor at Xeno lab but i don't think it comes out processed somewhere, unless i missed the output.
ОтветитьBrilliant content, thanks Ziggy
ОтветитьWhere can I find contraband?
ОтветитьAll you have to do if they run out of credits is wait 48 hours at a bench.
ОтветитьAs far as contraband goes, if these sketchy merchants have any legitimate items, the contraband can be traded for it, then sell legitimate items to legitimate merchants or kiosk.
ОтветитьI’m def gonna be a pirate come Thursday
ОтветитьHALT RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM
ОтветитьThe Den (a space station) in the Wolf System, near Alpha Centauri is your best destination for Contraband. The system is pretty much empty with absolutely no one interested in your cargo hold. The Trade Authority Post there is also very well equipped with ammunition and credits.
ОтветитьWhat is that suit your wearing
ОтветитьWhere are some good places you can find contraband?
ОтветитьGetting caught can lead to other things too, don't reload too early... I got a roped into a whole new questline after being caught pickpocketing...
ОтветитьI love stealing enemy ships
ОтветитьSTOP! YOU VIOLATED THE LAW. PAY THE COURT A FINE OR SERVE YOUR SENTENCE. YOUR STOLEN GOODS ARE NOW FORFEIT.
ОтветитьIf you go to the den there is a trade authority without a scan to worry about
ОтветитьAlso, you might want to make sure your Constellation companions are busy doing some research or something at your outposts before you go wild pirating others. They tend to disapprove of you committing crimes. Just saying.😅
ОтветитьSpiffing brit shows a way to deal with contraband easily
ОтветитьIt's kinda concerning how many people seem to like roleplaying as druglords in these kinds of games...😅
ОтветитьDon't care about the game, love watching your stuff mate. CFBR and whatnot.
ОтветитьYou can wait/sleep 24h in bed or 48h on chair (sitting on chair gives you option to wait) to reset the shopkeepers moneys.
ОтветитьAHOY! Shoot, you've stolen this AHOY!
Ответить
