Still remember catching this live and it was the absolute perfect set up for game 7, you want to talk about suspense!??!?! Bravo to both squads for one of the best seven game series of all time.
ОтветитьLove MJ but the guy choked hard that last minute. Had to double check and make sure I wasn't watching a Chris Paul video.
ОтветитьIn todays era, that’s a tripping foul on the last play. I generally hate it when that’s called, especially when the defense isn’t sticking their foot out in an obvious way. I think it was a good no call given the context. But yeah, that’s an easy call in todays game
ОтветитьThis was one of the greatest series ever, probably better than the finals.
ОтветитьThey lost this game at 19 sec to go, when he did not pass to Tony on the 3 point line.
ОтветитьThis proved mj is human. He missed alot of shots in last 60s. He wanted it just like how kobe missed his too. Tough defense made u exhausted n tired knee. But everything is cool when the team won the series n move to the final. What if they lost? Was mj being blamed for ballhog?
ОтветитьWhy they say he pushed him? Mj clearly tripped on his foot.
ОтветитьJordan tripped on Mckee’s foot, it wasn’t a push
ОтветитьThe pacers with Larry bird as coach were a very dangerous team. I believe they took the bulls all the way to a game 7. This is why I always laugh at the kids of this generation that think that Jordan played in a weak era. They have no idea how talented the teams were in the 90s.
ОтветитьWhy did he miss on purpose? If he hit it they would have been up by 4.
ОтветитьShould have passed it to kukoc
ОтветитьLos vi los 7 partidos en directo en canal + y es la eliminatoria más dura que ganó Chicago nunca, esa es mi opinión...
ОтветитьJordan tripped over the defender’s foot on his first step. But good no call anyways, and no whining by MJ.
ОтветитьIt's not often that we see MJ completely shyt the bed
ОтветитьI was working at the Bear Bites Snack Shop in the RDV IceDen located inside the RDV sportsplex in Maitland, Florida when this happened. It was one of the few times I left much later than when my shift ended.
ОтветитьMj tripped over McKey's foot. No push.
ОтветитьLebron would’ve asked for the coach to be sacked and 4 more all stars after that last
ОтветитьI like how Miller told Travis Best to drive in by doing that hand signal to Travis Best. Miller knew the lane would be open
ОтветитьLeGOAT James is so much better. Would’ve averaged 40 during this weak expansion era.
ОтветитьJordan 0/3 and a turnover
ОтветитьKukoc was wide open!!
ОтветитьLarry Legend looking stoic coz he KNEW what Game 7 meant.
ОтветитьThere is no way on God‘s green earth that Michael is not the goat. But at the same time the last play of that game was not controversial Michael did not get foul. He tripped over his own feet. lol he actually played pretty horrible down the stretch and that’s why they lost this game
ОтветитьJordan choked lmao
ОтветитьIt’s weird watching this after years of coach Kerr, he looks photoshopped 😂
ОтветитьI've seen better quality video of football games from 1968, restored using AI, but still... thanks for the upload, but you might wanna look into the restoration software because it would put you ahead of the curve today and not be behind tomorrow.
ОтветитьAbsolutely great team
ОтветитьDeadset if lebron missed those two shots then just fell over you’d never hear the end of it
Ответитьand social media tell me Jordan never play Game 7.....GOAT
Ответитьthat foul on jordan was a bullshit call. he refs did what they did every game for mj and gave him another phantom foul. that ball bounced on the rim when the ref blew his whistle lmao
ОтветитьThe era When they had something called "defense".
ОтветитьDid they win??? Did they lift the trophy ....crap😂
ОтветитьJust like you boxing. Even if you get knocked down, if you get back up before the 10 count you can still win. And thats why MJ is the Goat.
ОтветитьThat's some Namekian minute
ОтветитьMJ got that MJ whistle. He was never fouled
ОтветитьThis series shows how much tougher Jordan's competition was compared to Kobe, and how much better Jordan would be in Kobe's era.
Michael Jordan (Age 35) vs 1998 Pacers
31.7 PPG / 5.7 RPG / 4.1 APG
on 47/40/81 shooting
Kobe Bryant (Age 21) vs 2000 Pacers, not counting Game 2
19.0 PPG / 5.5 RPG / 4.0 APG
on 37/22/91 shooting
1998 Pacers allowed 89.9 PPG, 5th in both PPG allowed and DRTG
2000 Pacers allowed 96.7 PPG, 12th and 13th in PPG allowed and DRTG
The 1998 ECF had a pace of 83.9, the 2000 Finals had a pace of 91.5
The 1998 Pacers won 58 games in a tougher conference where the 1-seed Bulls won 62 games.
The 2000 Pacers were the 1-seed at only 56 wins.
The oldest version of Jordan on the Bulls performed much better against a much stronger version of the same team, under much tougher circumstances, far fewer possessions, and much less help to take defensive pressure off of him. Jordan also played way better defense, shutting down their best player to 0 points and 1 shot attempt in the 4th quarter of Game 7 to win the series. Entering the 1998 ECF Reggie had 22 PPG on 43/38/90 shooting for Rounds 1-2 of the Playoffs against two sub-90 PPG defenses.
Even before Kobe was injured, he only put up 14-3-5 in Game 1 of the Finals. Lower than any of Jordan's points in a playoff game. If Kobe's ankle was such a problem, he shouldn't have taken 27, 20, and 27 shots in the last 3 games of the Finals. And Jordan played through numerous injuries in all 6 of his titles, and even before then.
1989 - bruised knee, groin injury
1990 - bruised hip and buttocks, injured wrist
1991-1998 - tendinitis in one or both knees
1991 - toe injury
1992 - back muscle strain, injured foot, torn plantar fascia
1993 - sprained ankle in the 1st Round, sprained wrist in the 2nd Round
1996, 1997, 1998 - back injuries
1998 - severed tendon in his shooting index finger
The ones that I know of at least, there might be more
In 1998 specifically, he had injuries to his back, shooting finger, and tendinitis in his knees. Just more proof of how much tougher circumstances Jordan could handle compared to Kobe.
Even Dwyane Wade outperformed Kobe against common opponents in the Playoffs (and he played through injuries in most of these series, too)
2004, 2005, 2006 Pistons
2006, 2011 Mavericks
2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 Celtics
Jordan would have outperformed Kobe against common opponents to an even greater extent, and he did just that against their one common playoff opponent (not counting Kobe against the Jazz off the bench in 1997 and 1998)
Why do I hear gary glitter's rock and roll
ОтветитьJordan didn’t even complain to the refs…
ОтветитьUnfortunately for Reggie, there was a 7th game
ОтветитьWhy in the world did he miss it deliberately with 0.4 seconds and a 3 point lead?
ОтветитьWhen every point mattered more I think the pace during this Era was better
The jordan rules were the advent of todays softer game.
So, is this the toughest era 😂
ОтветитьMichael Jordan made basketball so popular World Wide that even a guy like me in Latin América started wachting it without having a basket ball court.
ОтветитьKukoc was wide open but Jordan fcked it. Sometimes a pass is the right play but Jordan fans don't wanna hear it.
ОтветитьSweet memories !!
ОтветитьHow is today better on average than this? Today is a back and forth 3 point contest. Not as varied offensively as back then.
Ответитьthat was not a foul, they gave him this game
Ответить事隔多年,還是好感動❤
ОтветитьLarry bird's face says it all he knew mj was going to go off next game
Ответить
