San Antonio is not the 8th but 7th largest city .
ОтветитьI was at the Alamo in Jan 2022 and they wouldn't allow us to take video or pictures while inside of the Alamo.
ОтветитьResearching San Antonio and this video was exactly what I wanted! You travel just like my sister and me, and I'm so thankful for your thoughts to help us plan!
ОтветитьNot the 8th largest it's the 7th largest!!
ОтветитьSan Jacinto (Houston) is where Santa Ana was defeated. Not San Antonio along the river.
ОтветитьWow, you make me want to visit my own city!! Dough is the bomb and never been to the BBQ place but I typically venture out to Kreuz BBQ in Lockhart.
ОтветитьMay peace, love, light, and positivity in abundance,I bring joy and light to everyone Amen 🙏
ОтветитьAwesome! Proud San Antonian here 😊 and I'm also a cook at a restaurant on the Riverwalk called The Iron Cactus, next time y'all are here, drop by! ❤ Glad you had a good time in our city, great video!
ОтветитьReasons why we are fat 😅
ОтветитьLove the video and all the information you gave. My wife and I love 2m smokehouse. Safe travels
ОтветитьThanks for showcasing my wonderful city!
ОтветитьJust don’t come in the summer! You will die, it’s so freaking hot here!! Winter is beautifully decorated and spring and fall is very nice.
Side note: San Antonio, is the 7th largest city in the nation.
Maybe should study up on Alamo history better. Santa Anna stayed in the Alamo till he was defeated? What happened to San Jacinto?
Ответить"Hard-working European citizens"? Colorful way to describe the forced conversion of Native Americans and Native Mexicans with their own religion and culture.
ОтветитьDid a great job repping my city!
ОтветитьBest pizza in SA: Il Forno. Yaghi’s is good, too
Best Chinese: a toss up between Best Quality Daughter and Sichuan House. BQD is more hip.
Best BBQ: You can’t go wrong with 2M or Reese Bros
Best Bakery: Bakery Lorraine
If you like ceviche, go to Leche de Tigre
For great oysters, go to Little Em’s Oyster Bar
Best park (and I hate saying this because a lot of people do not know about it) has to be Elmendorf Lake Park
Best place to have Mexican food al fresco: Paloma Blanca
Best Indian: India Palace
I miss Texas food!!! Best food I ever eat in any states I visited and lived at. Texas have very tasty foods!!! ❤
Ответитьi'm watching this because victor wimbayama the new draft 1 pick of the nba and he will be playing for the san antonio spurs i was tryin to see this state i was carious think you for the video God bless.
ОтветитьGreat video thanks for making it
ОтветитьThank you so much for this great video. We booked Travelers World RV park. You mentioned it being walking distance to River Walk. I was curious how far away it is? Also, where did you get that beautiful coral off the shoulder top? So cute.❤
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks for sharing, I must however quibble with the Alamo history as it is not true. the main reason for the battle was the Texian's were told multiple times by the Mexican government to knock it off with the use of slaves, they refused.
ОтветитьI've lived in SA all my life. Seen many sites here. But thanks to your very informative video. There's more for me experience in my hometown. The video is best, professional, and the most over the top!!!!!
ОтветитьThis town is absolutely a place I want to visit. Its at least 4-5 days ride for me to get there. Videos like this make me want to come up with the time to do it. thanks so much. stay safe!
ОтветитьThe two of you do such a great job! Especially with the great eats. Would love to know how or what websites you use to research food locations while you travel. I am such a foodie and this is always a part of my travel planning. In fact going to Maine in the near future and looked to see if you guys visited for recommendations. Sadly I did not see one but know you always bring it.
ОтветитьYou were right across the street from Davy Crockett’s remains in the church across the street
ОтветитьWow - we were there last year and there had to be 300 people in front of The Alamo. Needless to say we missed it - it looks fascinating!. Loved the River Walk - that I would do again! And The Pearl looks very cool. And, now I'm hungry... ;)
ОтветитьHello, I come to see this report following the Wemby draft. Great report. This city is very special. Greetings from Canada!
ОтветитьWhere are your e-bikes?
ОтветитьWe were sitting in the San Jose Mission (streaming Toronto news) when our Prime Minister said "If you are Canadian, you should come home". The start of Covid. The border to Canada closed just after we crossed back...though they would have let us back in.. COVID sure changed our travel plans. I think that year, 2020, you stayed in Mexico. 🇨🇦
ОтветитьPlastic fork, knife? Absolute no go!
ОтветитьWe do know how to eat in Texas.
And San Antonio is a nice domestic cultural substitute for the Mexico interior with the added bonus of Tex-Mex food to the usual real Mexican food of the interior.
If you make your way up towards Lubbock sometime, we can do working ranch West Texas BBQ, The National Ranching Heritage Museum, maybe even pop down towards the 6666 Ranch depending on what they have going on exploring the Caprock and High Plains and the "Big Empty" of the West Texas Plains.
You should come to fredericksburg just north of San Antonio. You could dobthe wine tours and visit luckenbach.
ОтветитьWe haven’t done San Antonio yet, but its on the list!
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьThanks so much for sharing another wonderful video like always, keep up with the awesome content 👌👍
ОтветитьSan Antonio is definitely a place I want to visit. Looks like you had a great time. 💖🙏✌️
ОтветитьNice video! I went to San Antonio on a huge road trip with my tiny chihuahua in October 2021 and her and I had a great time at the river walk and seeing some of the sites you showed. She was Mexican I'm American so the sites were an exploration of the history of two cultures we love dearly. Lost my pup almost a year ago but your video was making me smile big remembering being there with her! It was so fun and such a cool city! You showed some restaurants I didn't know about and can't wait to go back and eat my way through San Antonio again. Fried pickles on the River walk were definitely my favorite! I live in Mexico now so hadn't had those in years! Yum! Enjoy your adventures!
ОтветитьHow do you guys not gain weight? I gained 5 pounds just looking at all that food! cool video
ОтветитьAnd I love me some BBQ 🍗
ОтветитьAh!!! My hometown! Lived there my whole life! Glad you enjoyed!
ОтветитьI went through San Antonio on a road trip on the way to New Mexico/West Texas in 2017. One day, I’d like to see the sites there. Nice video!
ОтветитьThe macaroni at that BBQ place looked really good. I love some good Mac and cheese.
ОтветитьDid you see the Texas Bushman there!
ОтветитьI'm glad you enjoy San Antonio I live there for 1 year , years ago but now I stop on my way to Mexico every time I can and visit the River walk and eat there , saludos amigos
ОтветитьBBQ Heaven. I miss Texas.
