Will the length of wire between the master and slave affect the temp readings? For example if I wanted to measure the temp in my garage that is 10 meters from my computer.

Why to use resistors? E.g. when I use SHT1x do I need to use resistors as well? Or no matter for I2C interface?

I am really confused with the part of the program where you wait for the 1 byte response using a while loop. The 1 byte of data comes in as 8bit binary right, so won't while (serial.available()==0 ) be cut of by a 1 coming in as part of the 8bit data? Why doesnt that happen? please reply, I am stuck on a similar project due tommorow

Hi Jeremy. I'm a new fan, loving your video series, even if they are a few years ago. For the I2C, can you substitute a DHT11 or a thermistor? I'm new to electronics, bought your book, and am learning. I have both the Elegoo Super Starter Kit with UNO R3, plus the Elegoo Most Complete Starter Kit with MEGA 2560.
