Hey Tom, do you have the Tier 1-3 list for Spotify marketing? And do you also know which countries not to target and how to go about targeting them?? I’m still lost on that

But isn’t my profile page the same as a playlist? Same songs. I don’t get it.

In my own personal experience, pursuing followers wasn’t optimal. The % of followers who organically listen to new songs (ie through Release Radar) always seemed very low. I also worry Spotify will eventually move to a model where artists have to pay to retarget their followers (ie through their Spotify campaigns). Once I moved to optimising for streams, all my numbers improved (from about 8k monthly listeners to 15k monthly listeners in the last 3-4 months). This may be a genre thing - in instrumental guitar, there are many artists who have 100k+ monthly listeners but only about 1k followers. It’s a genre where playlists are king.

No matter how hard I try. I got thousands of conversions but zero streams from Facebook ads. It's not working for me. I even tried deep linking, direct app opener but no results at all.
When I try to gain to gain subscribers for my email list it's working pretty fine. My landing page converting at 40%.

Thank you for the video! I always thought the "This is..." playlists were generated by Spotify. I didn't know we could create our own ones. And now I know.

hey tom! running my first campaign, started out with 150 streams a day from it, but facebook ads have started targeting bots so now im just getting bots that dont click thru my FeatureFM link. would u mind sharing a solution to this if you can? thanks for always providing value

Im about 1 week or so away from re warming up my ad account again, took 2 weeks running a brand awareness/video views campaign, spending these next 2 weeks running a link click

Next week im running one growth conversion campaign on going for the rest of the year and maybe September run a playlist campaign to go with it

hey Tom...I v been thinking wouldnt it be more effective to pay for adds inside the spotify platform instead of facebook ads.....you know when people are on spotify they do not have to ...all of a sudden open a new app in order to listen the music.
