I love Leon Russell- he was big influence in the 70s. He made the perpetual 'bad hair day' in vogue.

Leon, you are one helluva ride. If you don't know and love Leon, then you've missed the greatest era of true rock and roll of all time. Time stopped for a handful of years. Only the chosen communicators share those times now understand the awakening that occurred during those years. They (the good times) wispily flitter by at times today (think tom perry) and let us know that not all is lost. God, they keep me going. If we could only hit rewind and bring it all together again. I wouldn't change a thing, well, except hitting on more of the most spiritually liberated and beautiful young ladies that ever existed. I must admit - I wonder where they are today. charlotte, terry, jan (oh my!)..... and on and on.

This is A pretty good song however it would be even better if I could understand the lyrics in it what was wrong with his voice he never sounded like that in his earlier years

I had no idea I knew who Leon Russell was until 30 seconds ago! My favorite artist, Frank Black, from the Pixies and his solo stuff, said he absolutely wore out Leon's self-titled album that inspired his vocal range!

A true American Legend. I was able to see Mr. Russell 3 times with tickets for a 4th show when he passed. Thank you Leon…

One of my all time favorites. What an artist.

This song was released when I was in seventh grade. Loved it. Top 40 AM radio had so many good songs back then.

I remember this song from the late summer and early fall of 1972. I was in my last year of high school beginning 12th grade and just couldn’t get enough of this song and its lyrics. As time progressed I realized that we all live those lyrics. Life is like walking the tight rope, a tricky balancing act. And if you fall there’s no net to catch you-you may hit the ground hard but better pick yourself up. Quickly. Leon Russell’s contribution to the history of rock music as a musician and songwriter is indelible. Since his passing he has joined his confrères in Rock n Roll Heaven and you know they got a helluva band.

My favorite Leon Russell tune. A timeless and classic song.

When I was in high school almost 50 years ago "we" were heading to the Mardi Gras on a day just like this one....Captain Humble local DJ for rock station WRNO played this song as we were sitting in traffic on St Charles Ave. Don't ask me why or how I remember that because I can't explain it.

I find this song so obnoxious and pretentious it's a trigger. I don't want anyone to hate music but I hate this delivery and buffoonish vocal delivery so much it depresses me. It comes on where I work and it's horrendous

This song and Lady Blue are the only two Leon Russell songs that I can tolerate. Everything else seems like bad, warbly singing to odd, quirky music.

I'm at Leon Russell at the coliseum so many years back when Memphis had two days of free music the second day it was raining so they went to the coliseum I'm at 7 Day Albert King William Russell show on it so on it was one of the best 2 days of my life if anybody else there
