I don't know why people are mad. It's like 1 year passed and they expect you to become from noobie indie dev to AAA game dev or what? You stated you start this from scratch, self learning it. In the first few months there are tons of information to absorb not just unity but other softwares like blender, besides you have a life, school etc. also some part of the gamemaking is defenetly falls into the "more harder than it actually looks" category, for example the level designing, or coding a funcional AI. Everyone needs to start somewhere and you defenetly going to the right direction. I hope in the future i can make my own FPS too! :)
ОтветитьThis is pretty cool but you should increase the fov.
ОтветитьIm not suprised rhat nobody bought your game, you didnt even made this thing that gun is always visible, and not clips into walls
ОтветитьYou can ise instead of a box collider a cone of eaycasts for tge enemys, its more realistic
ОтветитьDont give up bro. Never
Ответить.
ОтветитьLove it sooo much I would love to make animations for you
ОтветитьNice video showcasing your journey, btw the steam link is cut off in your description
ОтветитьI got a suggestion, so I make games with Unity, and if you want the lighting to be astronomically better, use the universal render pipeline, and not the default one. It's not too difficult, and you'll have access to better lighting, shader graph, and other cool stuffs! Good luck!
Ответитьhey! awesome video. I am a solo dev also. I have some decent workings of a co-op multiplayer fps game , but deff need help with anims and some of the systems..... would love to chat sometime!
ОтветитьBut how did you recorded the gameplay video if you have already made the game in past until you already was recording.
ОтветитьGood first game i would recoomed making your first few games free to get more feedback and make more projects that take less time instead of one project thar takes a year maybe challange yourself to make a game in a month or something like that
ОтветитьSubscribe so he enters a 1k views
ОтветитьCool
Ответитьthis rigdoll bug effect is amazing, looks funny nice vid ;D
Ответитьdevelopers make there first few games free so the comunity can see what your games are like. then you make it so they have to pay to see more of the games
Ответитьplzz make a veitnam war game
Ответитьhow's the game selling now after this video?!
ОтветитьHey! Multiplayer can be pretty hard to learn, but once you have a basic understanding of it, it will get easier. Personally, I'd say the hardest part is to actually choose what multiplayer to use. I spent a good month looking at all the different solutions until I settled on a solution called "Super Netcode". If you want to actually get into FPS multiplayer I'd recommend starting to learn the basics using Photon, And then getting Super Netcode cause Photon isn't made for FPS.
Ответитьi have been developing games for 4 years now and i am still not as good as you loooooool
Ответитьhmm why ur game cost 0.90$ i am poor and alos agame dev soo can i see ur project
ОтветитьYo this is crazy! I’m def gonna play it
ОтветитьOmg That is the best game in unity which I have ever seen
Ответить"At the end of the day, all game developers just want as much low effort content as possible" Capitalism really got to him😢
Ответитьthis took a year?
ОтветитьI mean the game is good but the graphics and other stuff arent gonna attract the player when they have to pay 5$ or 1$ anyways good game
ОтветитьSorry but your game lacks personality. It's boring, plain and frankly ugly. There is no reason why I should play this instead of Valorant for example or CS. It looks like something that someone did for the first time just to test out the basics and that is simply not enough. However don't be sad this is just the beginning for you. People don't make God of War, Valorant or any good game just like that even if it's indie so cheer up and good luck.
Ответитьhow did you had no views, this video took a year to make, love the video man
Ответитьgreat video, I now what to play this game a lot!
ОтветитьAwsome video commenting for the algorithm 👍
ОтветитьYou just inspired me, to drop the idea of following making full games with tutorials but instead make my own desired type game and learn as i go! you are truly awesome dude <3
Thank you so much, please make more!
Cool game i dont mind if its buggy its your first year
Ответитьcool stuff!! if u ever need someone to make music for your games you should hit me up!!
ОтветитьMultiplayer is really tricky when you first start with it but after that its actually pretty simple outside of debugging.
ОтветитьNeat game, but being your first game, the graphics are bad, AI is bad, Lvl designing is bad, movement is kinda stiff from what I've seen, I would recommend to make multiple projects where you test different aspects from Unity to learn a bit from every part, and after 4-6 projects you can set to make a small game, you will see how you'll get better and better after every project, and the all in all Quality will get better, I had to learn it the hard way, but now I'm progressing in a nice speed
ОтветитьGreat video! I always love seeing peoples' first projects, it's a really interesting niche. Watching this really threw me back, as I started around the same time as you and also used the same tutorials and Snaps packs on my early projects. Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьIt's kinda strange to sell this game for 5$ . Now steam probably will take some money to publish this and it will not even pay off
ОтветитьNice video 👍
ОтветитьCool video, i think you will be popular soon
ОтветитьNice. Keep working hard bro and someday you will also gain success.
ОтветитьNice video you have here can i have it?? 😊
ОтветитьThis is definitely gonna explode
Ответитьepic.
