Watching this now makes my heart hurt. This trailer is still one of the best things to come out of RWBY and it makes me remember the good old days... Nothing against the new stuff, I haven't watched it (Stopped after season 5)

When Myrtenaster was a rapier and not a friggin wand.

Since Weiss was physically injured on the first hit, that would imply that she had no Aura. Possibly, this was before she naturally unlocked her Aura (like Jaune in the beginning). So that mean she was trained and forced to fight this thing before she was adequately prepared to fight.
