This content shines with clarity. I discovered a book with parallel messages that had a deep impact on me. "Game Theory and the Pursuit of Algorithmic Fairness" by Jack Frostwell
ОтветитьBrilliant video, short and and to the point !
ОтветитьSadly there is none in the year 2023 or ever since.
ОтветитьI liked the Batman example.
Ответитьthis is so helpful!

ОтветитьKeep on rockin it. You’re awesome. Anyone needing to learn more about how to practise virtue ethics can find great information on your page! 👍👍👍
ОтветитьThat must be why people love characters like Batman and Captain America–because they demonstrate virtue ethics in action.
ОтветитьThis is a really interesting synopsis, well done! One point of contention is the inclusion of Batman as a sort of ideal Man of Virtue, and I think it would have been better fleshed out to compare with another Man that we generally consider to be virtuous who does in fact believe it is virtuous to take his enemy's lives, say a military general. But I understand that this may go beyond the scope of this quick capsule form video. Excellent!
ОтветитьVery helpful. Are you able to share what video program was used or does someone know?
ОтветитьThank you. Very well explained. 👍

ОтветитьBatman is virtuous
Ответитьthx so much, like this video talks with bat man example
ОтветитьI think there is truth to the theory of practice, but that is only one path, and may not even be the right path. Seeking the truth, and growing the courage to stand alone, to face persecution, to stray from the herd, to explore deeper understandings, unfettered by the fear of persecution, and the pillars of tradition, is another path. Do not make provision to err, but as we do err, do make virtue to forgive, including oneself.
ОтветитьExcellent video ..very well explained
ОтветитьInteresting
ОтветитьThank you so much I learned a lot more here than my ethics course

ОтветитьI don't understand the difference between Common Good Standards and Virtue Standards? They seem exactly the same just worded slightly differently. If I have to discriminate the 2 on an exam how am I supposed to know the difference?
ОтветитьAristotle and Plato both wrote: "It is permissible to lie, if it is beneficial."
For they taught the rich how to thought control public. The root cause for a fake morality that prevails to this very day, the reason why everyone strives to enrich themselves upon the misery of those who have less education, less wealth or less whiteness of skin.
thanks this is good.
ОтветитьI appreciate you
ОтветитьThis video is so helpful! Thank you <3
