Thanks! Thorough introduction & the integration of the sales "pitch" felt very natural & not salesy. 👏🏽 Well done!

Dang man. I just inherited this cam and big lens from my dad. He never used it. So I’m trying to learn and see if I can get some use out of it. Your video was awesome. I just checked your channel and glad to see you are still posting as this one is 6 years old! Thanks!

While surfing utube for a good explanation of how to use my T5, I found you. What a big help you have been. The manual is way too confusing and can’t find what I’m looking for. I purchased mine in 2014 for a trip to the Grand Canyon, so I’m an amateur still. I want to take a family photo while at the beach next week simply bc professional photographers are way too expensive. So I’m gonna give this a shot.
Thanks again!

FTI ... The letters usually relate to the different standards organisations, so ISO = International Organization for Standardization, ASA = American Standards Association, now ANSI American National Standards Institute, DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung, this translates to German Institute for Standardization.

Embarrassed to say I have had my T6 camera for years and never used it. All the menus and dials were overwhelming. I was use to my old fashioned SLR Canon. However, your video has relieved much of my anxiety and I am following along step by step. I know this video has been up for years, so please never take this video down as I am going through it slowly. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks! Thank you so much for such an informative and user friendly video.

Great video, thank you. I wondered what the difference would be between the 10-18 recommendation and the 10-22 f/3.5-4.5? The f range is different I know but for someone not 100% sure how this translates to actual images what would the differences be? I saw the 10-22 highly recommended as a landscape lens which is what I am looking for. I have the t2i which I bought years ago and then life got in the way so just picking it up again. Thoughts or advice?

Hey Tony, I’m a lot confused. Ok you are saying that to use bulb you need to find someone or some way to keep the shutter button pressed the whole while you are doing your thing. There must be different cameras that you push shutter button and it will stay open until you push it again. So my question after watching so many different videos it depends on what camera your using as to how the shutter button works ?

Great, informative video! Just for information ISO IS... an acronym I-mternational S-tandards O-rganization. They regulate standards for everything from chemicals to WiFi standards to yes, film sensitivity... which standard digital inherits film standards 😉. Former ISO clerk here.

I would have probably given up on taking pictures two weeks after buying my Canon Rebel T6 if it had not been for your videos and your books. I have now taken thousands and enjoyed learning and getting better in the process. Thank you for taking the time to produce these videos and writing your books.
