Elgin Police Department Memorial

On Tuesday, May 12, 2015 the Elgin Police Department hosted it's Memorial for the fallen officers outside the police department. Flags were lowered to half-mass, a wreath was added to the exterior of the building, the Mayor dedicated the day as "Elgin Peace Officers Memorial Day", and the fallen were honored. This event was very peaceful and beautiful as the community and EPD officers remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
