EXO-CBX and The People vs. SM Entertainment

If you were a fan wayback pre-2014 exo or during 2014 exo, you know that this is a parallel cases to the chinese members. It's just that, Kris, Luhan and Tao are too bold enough to do it despite exo was in the peak of their career at that time. Their health issue was the last straw for them to file a lawsuit. If the rest of the members had given a chance, for sure they will do the same at that time. They just dont want to compromise anything again and again because they are at the peak of their career and can't do anything about but to go on. This so sad knowing these members including the chinese members who left, really dont want to leave exo but SM really did number, they have to.

sm really learn their lesson do they first jyj, former super junior hangeng , former exo member kris,luhan and ztao and now the exo memember as well leaving one by one sm really need to tought a lessons to not mistreated their artist.

That single week of promotions makes sense now. Fuck you SM

SM is such a slimy company. They were trying to turn the public opinion against CBX, but it didn't turn out as they expected and they didn't want to lose cbx and rest of exo so they compromised and successfully sidelined the issue by using our sentiments and releasing the comeback. And i think CBX compromised because SM has literally banned all the artists that left company from working in south korean industry.

Apparently SM backed off and will let CBX revise their contracts.
However, the message still stands: believe in CBX & EXO, not in SM.

We all knew our guys were being taken advantage of and mistreated. I am so thankful they are standing up against SM. I can only imagine how scared they are going up against this powerhouse. I am so proud of their bravery and pray and support their release from SMs predatory behavior!

Here we are 15 years later and They are still playing dirty and getting away with slave contracts and intimidation.

It's time people stand up for their beloved artists and demand fair and equal pay and treatment by these predatory entertainment companies that have too much power!

As sad as all this is, I hope this makes a massive point in the Kpop world. For a band as huge as EXO to be doing this is incredibly inspiring for other idols. I really think this will make a impact and hopefully this will start the ball rolling for change when it comes to these companies. Didn't SM also say to them to sign a non-disclosure agreement just to obtain the copy of the contract? It's like saying, "yeah you can have a copy if you agree to never show it to a lawyer"

I'm not an EXO-L, but I've always been sensitive to the injustices of K-Pop. The stuff they're specifically suing SM for is already illegal due to the Lee Seunggi lawsuit. The openers, though... I'm surprised I hadn't heard about the Z.TAO statement, though I'm glad I didn't until now because I'm finally being treated for PTSD due to similar situations. God, that's horrible. SM did this to The EXO members as trainees. No phones or communication to anyone outside the company. Prisoners are treated like this. SM did that to the EXO members. Gimbap for one year? Not allowing them to order food? Abusers do this. SM did this to the EXO members. Being forced to work when seriously injured? Cruel employers do this. SM did this to the EXO members. There's no way the members didn't plan this all before hand or CBX did it without informing their leader & members first. It's definitely a group decision & all members are in on every step they're taking in this battle. Their bonds with each other are stronger than SM can fathom. We EXO-Ls know about their bond as well. I think it's the shared pain they've constantly faced at the hands of SM is what made their friendships so strong. So the tactic SM is trying to make us believe that CBX are greedy, selfish & traitors of EXO (as a group) is just hilarious to me. Our boys will never be the bad guys SM & antis want them to be.

BTW thanks a lot for this video. I knew about everything else except that cheap trick of SM making their interns post slanders against CBX to misguide the public. I hope nobody falls for SM tricks & only support CBX & EXO. We are one!
