My favorite are the Chantecaille future skin (esp for the office where the air is dry) and the Armani Luminous Silk for special occasions (skin looks flawless in photos with this one).
ОтветитьTop current
- nars light reflecting
- Chanel no1
- Charlotte tilbury beautiful skin
- chantecaille future skin
-PML
On my list to try
- CDP
- Prada
- LE
My two favorite foundations are the Prada and the Chantecaille gel. What funny is that I have oily skin and you have dry skin and they both work for both of us! THAT is the sign of a special foundation! I need to try the Chanel Water Fresh next!!
ОтветитьHi dear! Whats your current best concealer?😊
ОтветитьAbsolutely love the Pat McGrath foundation. It’s amazing. I used to use only Chanel or Armani, until i tried this one. It’s now my very favorite—perfect for mature skin.
ОтветитьI love love the Chantecaille and the Chanel water tint, I also love the Tom ford one in a stick and the Guerlain terracota foundation. And as a back up the Lancôme and Estes Lauren 😉
ОтветитьThrowing in a vote for the classic Koh Gen Do Maifanshi - more of a medium but buildable satin finish that makes my skin look natural. For reference, I'm late 40's with a medium skintone, normal skin type, and I only use powder on my larger pore areas. The color match is not too yellow, not too peach, not too olive, just perfect! It sorta reminds me of the PMG in finish, I think my color match is just a touch better. Thanks Sofia!
ОтветитьPlease do this for every single category please
ОтветитьDior Natural nude, chanel water fresh or armani luminous silk for me 😊
ОтветитьLoving your background ❤ Thanks for this video 😊
ОтветитьI’m 67 and I love this light weight Future Skin formula from Chantecaille. Also have LaMer, Chanel No 1, Guerlain Terra Cotta, and Sisley.
ОтветитьUh oh, I think they are discontinuing the Clé De Peau Radiant Cream Foundation. Almost all the shades are unavailable on the Cle De Peau website unless you have a bigger reach than I imagined.
ОтветитьI want to try Chantecaille next. I am using Suqqu and I have backups. The CdP seems like it would be great for me as well. I have the Prada and I usually mix WA serum drops in it to give it a little glow. Loved this video.
ОтветитьHi Sofia! Have you tried powder foundations? Many luxury brands have them. I have never tried and I wonder, what kind of skin it's suitable for, how long it stays, what's the coverage, how to apply it...
ОтветитьHi Sofia. I agree with the Prada. Love it. I recently bought the Chanel Sublimage Le reintegration Radiance cream foundation. I thought it might be thick or heavy. I was so wrong. It is amazing. Med to full coverage. The brush that comes with it worked pretty well. I’ve used it four times and I love it for my dry ish skin. I bought the Chanel primer also. Looks beautiful with that under. It you don’t have this one. Definitely go get it. Your mom will love it also. My instant holly grail. Xo ✨💖💄👄✨
ОтветитьI absolutely love the Guerlain Terracotta foundation. I have rosacea and need fuller coverage. It blurs pores and covers redness without looking heavy. It's also great for my dry skin. I might need to try the Chantecaille future skin foundation next!
Ответитьthe Chantecaille is the only foundation that makes my skin look like I want it to. I am not in love with the glass jar which may sound weird because it does make luxurious but getting my brushes in there can be a pain. The product makes it worth it though
ОтветитьNice!
ОтветитьMy top 3 I think are the chantecaille future skin, the prada and the sisley phyto eclat. The LE tint does not fully count into my foundation category but is also a favourite. I also really like the Cle de peau radiant (both versions, I usually mix them together), but it is not my top 3 I think (so hard to rate this)… does anyone know how those compare to the cream version? I like the travel friendliness
I always wanted to try the Pat McGrath but I think I need to use up some other before.. somehow the chanel water tint does not speak to me even though I always wonder if I’m missing out on something 😂
Great video! I have yet to try the Chantecaille, though it is on my list. I am Loving the Suqqu Cream Foundation, Cle de Peau Radiant Fluid Natural, Valentino, Llisa Eldridge Seamless Skin and Giorgio Armani Lluminous Silk. There are a couple of others, but I´ll stay with 5. xx
ОтветитьCdP cushion and Armani LSF are my all time favorites. I like the Chanel water tint too.
ОтветитьI love the Chanel water fresh. I want to try Cle De Peau but wondering- does it dry down or stay tacky/wet?
ОтветитьThe Chanel Water Tint was a game changer for me. I just got the No 1 de Chanel to try something with more coverage. Now I’m curious about the Chantecaille. Before Chanel I used the La Mer Skintint for years.
ОтветитьI was so surprised to hear you say Pat Mc Garth… just because no one speaks about it… perfect skin tone match and the foundation just looks like perfected me… Chanel Les Beiges Fresh Tint is also a staple… Le Teint Ultra Chanel foundation is my favourite full coverage thus far… thank you for sharing your list! Very interested in the Chantecaille!
ОтветитьPatMacGrath foundation is the best for me, and I really like the Prada, I have combination skin, more on the oily side and live in a very hot and humid climate.
ОтветитьMy Top 5: Prada Reveal, Cle de Peau Radiant Matte, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, Chanel Sublimage L'Essence de Teint, and the Chanel Complexion Touch (I use this as foundation, slightly more pigmented than the Waterfresh Tint.) 😊❤ I am 47 with Combination Oily Skin and live in a Moderate Climate (40's to 70's) on the Coast. Always moisture in the air here.
ОтветитьIsn’t that strange because the Pat McGrath foundation was the worst one I ever tried. I actually threw it out. Just goes to show how different we all are.
ОтветитьI’ll have to try Cle de Peau. I have all the others and agree except for Pat McGrath. I did not like that one. Armani Luminous Silk is my all time favorite.
ОтветитьLove the Prada foundation ❤
ОтветитьI love Giorgio Armani luminous silk!
ОтветитьDoes the Prada foundation have fragrance in it? I stick with MAC because it doesn’t have fragrance in it. I do have the Chantecaille one and I like it.
ОтветитьThis was fun to watch. What I love about you is that you are consummately HAPPY. 😁
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьMy favorite worth the money foundation is Cle de Peau radiant fluid foundation natural.
ОтветитьSo which do you prefer? Clè de Peau? Or Chantecaille? 😮
ОтветитьI’m mature and have some texture around the nose area. I noticed the Chantecaille foundation kind of highlighted that, which was disappointing due to the price. However, I had a small sized gel primer by Milk and let me tell you those two pair well! Just mentioning this in case anyone else needs a primer for the Chantecaille foundation (hope I spelled those correctly). This Milk primer is also reasonably priced.
However, my favorite is Guerlain terracotta teint. That one is amazing!
Thank you Sofia.
ОтветитьLooove the Chanel water fresh blushes so very pretty and flush from within look 😍
ОтветитьHello- I was so excited to try the Chanel Les Beiges water fresh tint but when I asked the Chanel sales associate- she corrected me that it is not made from any serums, just mainly water, as in the name 😅I decided not to purchase until you could clarify if you had made a mistake-claim on their product?
ОтветитьI love the Prada with the Dior Star Filter as well!! Absolute perfection. And I'll be a Chantecaille Future Skin lover forever. LOVED this video! I want to try the Cle De Peau so bad!
ОтветитьI already have the Chanel in the Prada. Love them! Now I'm just gonna have to get my hands-on the cle de peau beaute! Love your channel.!
ОтветитьHow do the water fresh tint and future skin do in hot and humid climates?
ОтветитьThe Prada with the Dior star glow underneath is my absolute favorite! Absolutely worth every penny!
ОтветитьHow do these compare to the GUERLAIN foundation?? That’s my holy grail… but I love trying other lux brands.
ОтветитьI've bought the Chanel boy de Chanel foundation at your recommendation and it has surely replaced my favourite ones (Cle de peau radiant cream, Haus labs and Prada one). I can't believe how natural and blurring it is without drying my skin. So much better than the
majority of the over 30 foundations that I have. Thank you for your tip!❤
I did have top five foundations since I receive my most expensive foundation valmont, after that, I don’t have top five, I have a top one and only one VALMONT,nothing compares to this foundation. It’s something never experience before. This foundation is just magical when you apply and even when you take it off, definitely pricey pleasure but it’s worth it.
ОтветитьThe Cle de Peau Radiant Cream Foundation is my number one foundation too but I only use it when I am going out for dinner or a date because it’s really expensive. Its texture is divine. I also love that it has very wide range of shades and I found my perfect one. I will always keep repurchase it.
I finished 2 jars of the Chantecaille Future Skin 10 years ago and I loved it so much and thought it would be my forever foundation until I traveled with it. The jar container made it very messy to use especially when you had flipped it so I gave it up. I wish it comes in a pump bottle or a tube like Cle de Peau.
I also love and still using Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Complexion Touch and Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Sunscreen (prefer them over the WaterFresh Tint because I still want a tiny bit of coverage). I would use the Water-Fresh Complexion Touch for daily purposes like running errands and would use the Vitalumiere Aqua if I go to a humid region, pool side or rainy days because it just stays put and not melting (feel like waterproof) with natural dewy finish. Also Vitalumiere Aqua is super lightweight to a point that I can’t feel the foundation at all (feel like bare skin). So comfortable.
My 5th one would be the Valentino foundation but I don’t use it as much now because it has the highest coverage than all the above and feel heavier since I am now more leaning towards to light or light-medium coverage foundations but I have to praise its texture when it has medium to high coverage. It’s natural finish (not matte not dewy) with some luminosity, not cakey, blur imperfections and pores very well. I would only use it when I’m going to bigger events and want flawless airbrush makeup’y look.
Thoughts on Valentino foundation?
