Is it just me or can anyone else not find most of these settings? I literally just got the Android 13 update and I hate it so far.

I got an update last night on my Lenovo tablet, now when I turn the screen off, it doesn't go off.....it displays my username, a clock, and if I have a video or music running, and the screen has illumination. So, at night, there's still light from my screen. And the pull down notification menu, from the top, is way smaller than it used to be, it's difficult to read. And the navigation bar is now always displayed at the bottom, taking up screen real estate... These new "features" have reduced the functionality of my device, reduced the enjoyment of device.

I never created a Samsung Account so a lot of these functions don't show on my screen. Should I log into Samsung Account with my Google account?

Google's gone nuts with stupid features and annoying services, not to mention passwords BS and charges for everything. Riches (and monopolies) corrupt absolutely.

What a silly take : "if an app is sending xou notifications its running in the background and draining your battery". Duh. But its probably"running" for a reason. And event driven bg apps take about zero battery if done right. Yes, trim excessive notifications but please, think about what you say.

Google put these videos in my main phone screen. So I am forced to watch like 2 videos in order to make a phone call . What if I gad an emergency and needed to call 911. this is ridiculous and I'm about ready to throw my phone away . They keep harassing me about my storage. Items that were already in your storage before the reduce our storage was not suppose to go against your storage space I deleted 5 years of my email. but goigle says my storage is over full which I know is B.S. Google constantly is interfering with my phone and my emails. I am sick of it . I hate google.

If my phone has been stolen and they removed my sims how would I now the sims they put inside the stolen phone

I don't have screen mode as an option, all that's listed is. Font sizeand style, screen zoom, full screen apps, camera cutout.

I want to know how to make the phone not turn on and show the time and stuff when I touch close to the phone etc.

Really should add SAMSUNG to your title.. most of those settings aren't on other phones.

when you delete search history you might think all records are deleted but in Site Settings / All Sites there will be long list of sites & info on data stored from those sites (!) which you can delete from Site Settings / Data Storage ~ nb: there may be a few sites lingering in All Sites, but they can be deleted (/ "reset") individually by tapping on them

I've never set up a Samsung account even though I've used their phones since the S3. I'm assuming this keeps google from sending them information? Seems like it would since there is no account. I don't have some of the options you mention since I wouldn't agree to the Samsung account privacy agreement. I've lived without one this long, is there anything of value I'm missing out on? Thanks for making these videos. They hide these options very well.

Thanks for the tips here, but you should really change the title of this. This is completely geared toward a Samsung phone. Your description says you might also have these features on a non-Samsung phone with slightly different menu options. That's not true. Half of these are not available on a Google pixel, moto, or any Android with more of a pure Android experience. And even if they are available the path to get there can be quite different to the point where you as well use the settings search instead.

Hi guys. Pls help me! I played around in my settings on my samsung s20. There was a option to increase my hz preformence with a warning that my phone can overheat, did switch it on now I don't no how to get back and switch it off pls help.

I turned off Wi-Fi notifications but still get them constantly.

You both should stop using trigger words to entice people to this video. A cellphone in general anyone can track it at any time. People with mental illness will mistake this as an actual threat, I know this because my ex just did and now thinks someone hacked his phone after watching this. Does it make sense? Absolutely not. But it did make him extremely paranoid to the point of having delusions

i have almost none of these features with my One plus android 13 phone.....

i would like to know how to turn ON automatic bluetooth play via my music app.
it is very dead by default in android 13, everytime i get into my work car and start the car audio.
i recently had a mobile with android 5. it was a very pleasant experience - everything worked as it should. now on 13, music has to be restarted EVERY f... time.

Sister says it's a waste of time and too much work to go into Settings and Permissions and turn off everything I feel does not need to be on. I don't think so plus every 3-4 months I factory reset my phone. If it's not acting properly I'll do it sooner.
