I have the M50 with a 11-22mm lens for the rode videomic pro plus. such a great combo for sit down videos and vlogging.

hello. Are these mic chargeable via usb-c (and not micro usb ) ? Via a powerbank while using as well ?

I like better the pro than pro plus

pro is less bassy and pro+ has more bassy voice ... they just have different eq settings which can be managed .. but thing about 2 channels, higher and lower is alone worth the buy

I actually like the old version better. Sounds much better.

Am I tripping or does the Pro sound better than the Pro+. Pro+ sounds a little more bassy (Base-like). The Pro sounds slightly cleaner than the Pro+. Maybe it's just my MacBook speakers making it sound better....

How do they compare to the NTG1?

only half way through but if you're gonna show comparisons at least get the DB the same so we can hear the noise and tone properly. The Pro obviously has more gain (otherwise thank you!)

I like the size of the old one. The sound to my ear is more pleasing as well

The Pro Plus is 3D Omni-directional. Will that fit with the HC-V800? Just think of the V800's 5.1 and Omni-directionality. That can easily capture 5.1 sound systems from the center of a room quite nicely.

Hi dear! I just bought the classic Video mic pro. Does it means in the end I'll pay more for the batteries than the mic itself? I wonder if it exists batteries that we can recharge...

The Pro+ was so much louder. That makes it impossible to compare.

Great video! You got straight to the point and made the difference very clear!

The fact that you can't hold the camera up to your eye is enough to negate any of the benefits of the Pro+ for anyone using a DSLR. Might be better wait for the next model which hopefully rectifies the issue. It makes you question their product testing process.

Wow! Awesome video this really helped! Thought the pro+ sounded like it was the pro but more richer if you know what I mean.

Do these features save? What I mean is... say that I set the mic to record a -10db and 75Hz high pass filter, will those options still be turned on if the mic is turned off and back on again? Or do I have to set them every time I want to record?

The Rode manual says the Auto Power feature will ONLY work if the camera supplies plug-in power. I tried connecting a mic to a Canon XA20 camcorder and a Canon Vixia HF R72 and the auto power feature did not work. Do Canon camcorders generally not provide plug-in power? Just some DSLR cameras? Who can provide information on this?

I’m sold on getting the Rode videomic pro! But when you were using it indoor it sounded kinda echoy. Do you think it would sound different if I was in a bigger building?
