How to use the NEW Cinebench R23 to benchmark your CPU

Hi, when I start the test the cpu immediately throttling, the fans are set up to max and the temperature hits 100C. The test runs for 10 minutes and the cpu clock speed is 3GHz(the cpu max frequency is 5GHz). Also Intel XTU shows power limit throttling when the cpu is idle, and power limit and current/edp throttling when gaming. Do you think these problems can be fixed with replacing the motherboard, the laptop is under warranty. Thanks!

Picked up the Asus G18 laptop with a i9 13980hx processor yesterday and it scored 31,838 right out of the box. I will have do some undervolting in the future. I did a -30 undervolt in the bios and the score came up to 32,772.

My 12700k is scoring 24,269 on multi core 10 minute test. It topped out at 82c. Says im 3rd place. But im confused because now I cant see the ranks after closing it and starting it back up. Why cant I see ranks anymore except for my score!?

Hello TechRacoon, everytime I hit the start button my motherboard just shuts down immediately. Then I just get a red indicator and I have to disconect and reconnect to get it working again. Please help

12600k multi 19256 5.2/5.1 p cores 3.9 e cores. 1.304v 71c highest recorded during testing. 360mm Aorus AIO running at balanced on pump and performance @ fans.. 45c during 4k gaming so the CPU isn't used much. Corsair ddr5 5600 2 dimm kit/ founders 3090 if those factors matter.

well, I retested after upgrading to windows 11 and my score was 16582 this time. BUT! it did not crash with game booster(overclock) on, 5.0ghz. single core is 1421.

hi! my i9 10900k crashed with game booster on(5.0). I turned it off(3.7) and got a 16,200 multi core. this was also with windows 10 pro. I'm gonna test it again with windows 11 pro. my Unigine scores went down after I upgraded to 11 and I want to see what, if, anything happens now.

My Ryzen 9 5900x gets about 30 seconds into the multi-core test then pops and error messages and crashes cinebench. Any thoughts???

P.S. all games run fine without a hiccup and it stays under 65 Celsius. I have it OC’d to 4.5. Should I try turning down the frequency? It’s currently at around 1.26…

40000 on my 13900K. Shot up to 100C instantly drawing 330W. Had to undervolt by .110 V. Only used about 265W then.

My AMD 3990X (64core) just ran 60,443 on the 10-min throttle test. I paid $5k for the CPU over 1 year ago but now they're $6k on amazon. Lol first time a computer part goes up in value.

AMD Ryzen 5800X doing 15.000 multi-core

Why the f*ck is cinebench having redicilous scaling problems @1440P res??? Like my problem's are that the fonds too tiny, and I can't even go up to the upper left corner to enable the advanced benchmark and turning the duration off entirely. I've reinstalled it severall times through the offline installer and the ms store, and nothing is helping me. Even though I tried to set the scaling for apps and fonds inside the settings app of windows to a higher number wouldn't solve this problem. Does anyone else experience this problem @ a 1440P resolution?

Just finished my rig. My Ryzen 7 5800x 3.8Ghz multi core test ran a solid 15730 pts and single core with 1598 pts. I do have 10 tabs, steam and dragon ball broly running while doing these XD. Temps never hit 70c. Ill do a proper test later, Thanks!.

I don't get it. Cinabench takes a minute to draw a picture of a chair
and table. What's so hard about that? My image editor draws the same

This program doesn't know anything. I have an AMD FX-9590 and it insists it's a 4 core 8 thread processor. The temperature on the 10 minute test got to 40 degrees C for the cores. It only gave me a score of 3737 on the multicore 10 minute test. The single core test finished the count down but didn't stop the test or give me a score. I demand it give me the right results. This is a 5ghz processor and 8 cores with 16 threads. I just built this computer in 2015. I want my real score.
