Nice to know but in fact you got fuckt from apple. That's why I have every Time the Apple Care for that
ОтветитьImpressive work. Where is your shop located?
ОтветитьWhat on earth is up with all these capacitors.
ОтветитьSeems like capacitor rot is still a thing after that late 90's early 00's debacle. At that time almost all pc brands used crappy electrolytes witch resulted in a lot of broken pc's but even vcr's stereo equipment an so on.
ОтветитьI just bought a used M1 macbook pro and I was just wondering: is that a way to avoid shorts in it?
ОтветитьVery cool videos guys, thanks a lot !!!
ОтветитьPipi bus
ОтветитьCan RAM be changed and repaired if it's faulty or does the entire logic board need a replacement?
ОтветитьI love mac os, because of logic pro, but these failures make me rethink hackintoshing.
ОтветитьDaughter's 2022 Macbook Pro has the black screen that will not work, works with an external display. It's really dissapointing how bad quality control has become at Apple. What a shame. Despite the computer failing, I really enjoyed your video!
ОтветитьBrilliant videos, wish I could do things like this, it’s opened my eyes to how poor the Mac stuff really is and I’ve been using Mac since 2009, luckily I’ve not come across any problems and my 2014 iMac is still going strong. I was thinking about upgrading to a Mac Studio but I’m worried the same crap from the MacBooks are inside the Mac Studio.
ОтветитьA1466 still working fine after 13 years... fu Tim you ain't getting my money 😂
ОтветитьMan I learned so much !! Thank you for the entire repair videos !!!
ОтветитьSuper
Ответитьsucks a whole machine can be thrown out or scrapped because i tiny 1 cent capacitor
Ответитьlet give me that one,
ОтветитьHow to prevent the capacitor from getting crack ?
ОтветитьWhich m1 model do you think will last the longest
ОтветитьWould m2 be better since m1 was their first invention
Ответитьcool stuff man.
funny too.
Heat is what makes these ceramic caps internally break and sometimes go open, most times just short. If you remove an already heat-treated ceramic from a donor board by heating it up again and then heating up again when soldering it back to the other board... You can just buy any ceramic capacitor with 10uF and 10+ Volts for that 3V3 power rail. And if the 10uF / 25V are unavailable or too short to fit on the pads, just buy 35V types or even 50V types. No problems there!
Ответить…and people still continue to buy Apple’s p.o.s. products
Ответитьcan i get one of them
ОтветитьLegend
Ответитьcapacitor, capacity, short circuit its crazy life buddy from macbook
ОтветитьAmazing work man.
I’ve got MacBook M1 that had some liquid damage around QP700 area after cleaning all works.
Today is not booting or charging only 5v.
After removing the board I found that PP2V5 Awake NAND area is very hot.
This means the board is dead?
Thank you again
Remember when Apple made quality stuff? Yeah, it was so long ago.
Ответитьso my MacBook is equal to my ceiling fan. lifespan depends on a "Capacitor".
ОтветитьIf the M1 macbook pro I just bought is a no fix I'm going to be very sad
Then probavly sell it on ebay
But let's keep a positive attitude, your video should be very useful
Why are newer computers so much less reliable?
Ответитьthe logic board on my m1 mac mini just broke and the cost is more than the machine itself - these machines are really disposable
Ответитьeasy money 😂😂😂
ОтветитьApple should issue a recall
ОтветитьI’ve watched a lot of these repair videos, but this one is by far the best. You’re a great teacher thank you for sharing your knowledge. subbed!
ОтветитьGreat Video. I had a goo laugh at the 12V RAMPAGE. lol
ОтветитьHello Sir, what is the normal reason why logic board needs to be replaced? After 2 year, my M1 mcbook stopped turning on, i sent it to service center and they said they need to replace the logic board and the price is ₱30,000($508) while I bought it for ₱48,000 ($813)
ОтветитьWhat does a repair like this cost? (the first example, simple cap replacement)
ОтветитьThis was surprisingly entertaining - thanks. It's nice to watch this while trying to find a way to fix my M2 Macbook Air that will not power up anymore. Only had it for two years. Seems like Apple has lost it's way. Can't believe I'm saying this but I'm now shopping for a PC that can be upgraded or repaired easily, unlike Mac. I've been using Mac since the Quadra with Motorola CPU.
ОтветитьCould it be because of high heat?
ОтветитьYou are hilarious. My tears over my blown computer turned to laughter.
ОтветитьSeu canal é muito bom, poderia fornecer vídeos dublados em português do brasil?
ОтветитьYou need to create a method to unlock MacBook from M1 which has activation lock.
ОтветитьAmazing work and I love the fact that you hid the customer's name. I also really like the insights into the QC process and documentation. This is great professionalism.
Ответитьmost satisfying video i watched for today
ОтветитьWhat causes a macbook to have case like this ?
ОтветитьSell these repaired unit on your site I want to order.
ОтветитьI’m watching this while my 6 months M2 MacBook Air died for no reason. Service Center suggested a logic board repair. I’ve no faith that this will even cross 2 years mark.
