When watching these documentaries we are not to take what the commentators or those so called experts are telling us is true. Many statements are not true and far from it. These documentaries do twist the actual truths of what is written and they will not tell you what the written ancient texts are actually saying as it would change mans understanding to the truth to how it has been distorted by them .

Given this title, I expected a detailed study of cave paintings and perhaps other prehistoric expressions of art like figurines. Instead, there was about 6 minutes (broken into by a commercial for History Hits, that was a general overview of cave paintings. The remaining 40, or so, minutes were Egyptian and later. Not cool.

There were only 2 or 3 minutes of this video about (at the very most , if that much ) prehistoric cave paintings! The other 45 minutes or so was only egyptian, Greek and Roman culture!!! Where were the prehistoric cave paintings that you promised? Why have you baited / scammed suckered and trapped everyone to get to view your video???🤔🙄😳😟

Cave painters had the eye! Look at the line work! It’s as if the process was subconscious and they weren’t only seeing what we think we see in their work. There’s more to the image and overall message that’s bound to be discovered again and again.

No matter the reason for the paintings, art is art. Only some people have the ability to create art, if everyone could do it, would it be as special? I remember when I was young, other kids standing around to watch me draw, as if I was doing something magical. People like to watch art be created, they like to look at art - I imagine it was the same with these early humans.

I'm somewhat aggravated by Hollywood's photoshopping of images and perfectionism. It isn't realistic. I do not look at women in a lustful, sexual way, but I appreciate their beauty with or without makeup with or without grey hair and wrinkles, thin or heavy set. I blame it for causing not only some women but some men too, who struggle with their self images. All of us is different. So much pressure is put on folks to look a certain way and it's destructive. I think Hollywood also puts too much emphasis on sex and promiscuity, which has a lot of negative implications. I'm not saying sex is a bad thing but I personally choose to stick with the ideal of only having sex within a marriage and staying away from smut. Just because I'm a heterosexual male don't mean I want to be bombarded by graphic images when I visit a website that's supposed to be benign.
I close by saying to anyone who feels less than whether it's because of Hollywood and people trying to push an ideal that isn't realistic or anything else causing such feelings of insecurity that I pray for them. God created each of us differently and with different talents and they do matter. Just be yourself

They painted on cave walls for the same reason that I paint on canvas... If I didn't, I would curl up & die! The urge to create is too strong to ignore. It will not be denied.
And so they painted what they knew.
And then they thought about why the urge was so strong, and attached some spiritual significance to it, and consequently the area where the paintings were located also had spiritual significance.

i have a theory . the society that draw the cave paintings where advanced . astrologists , artists ,engineers . they where advanced but had nothing . they either survived something or where refugees . they decorated the cave with art and maps because they had to live there a long time ago. just my theory but ticks a lot of boxes :)

Thank you for this video. These rock shelters or caves were a natural hiding spot during very bad weather conditions but also a surviving place during the most dramatic event in the history of mankind. That is the crossing of planet 9 that occurs every few thousand years. That planet 9 is orbiting our sun in an eccentric orbit so it crosses close to our sun at a very high speed. Due to the gravitational force it causes a huge tidal wave, storms, rains, flooding and earthquakes in unprecedented amounts and a bombardment of fiery meteors. Only people who are in a shelter with a very strong roof, a mountain above your head will do, survive this disaster. In those caves they recorded messages for us. That they were human, many, by printing the hands. A spiral is the first sign of the approaching planet. A square cross is a closer planet and hands up means that they are frightened. That planet is sometimes presented as an agressive animal with big teeth. . Another result of the cycle of disasters is a cycle of civilizations. They emerge and vanish according to a fixed schedule. This is ancient knowledge that is available for everyone who is searching for it but that is forgotten, neglected or denied by all scientists.. To learn much more about planet 9, the recurring flood cycle and its timeline, the rebirth of civilizations and ancient high technology, read the e-book: "Planet 9 = Nibiru". This book answers many of your questions about ancient history. It can be read on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Search: planet 9 roest

This is the most patronising documentary I have seen in a long time. The disinterest in exploring actual motivations for art is replaced with shallow self serving analysis. I came in hopes of learning more about parietal art, but instead received a tiresome dose of perspectives - especially regarding medieval art - that have long been abandoned (thankfully). A very disappointing addition to an otherwise excellent channel.

Why did prehistoric they/them fluid persons decide to do cave painting? Were they DEI SANCTIONED? were they prequalified? Did they use the right amount of gov approved ochre?
Is this question really relevant? I did not have my ass planted in some lecture hall for 4 yrs paid by my parents but I will venture an unovereducated opinion,
Because they could.
