Why I Left The City For A Rural Life | Simple & Country Living

OH one other thing about our country life situation that I forgot to mention… we don’t have cell service where we are! We do have wifi though so that helps out for FaceTimes and WhatsApps back home.

I really haven’t found it to be much of a problem unless I want to call a local shop which in that case I just wait until we go to town (where we have coverage) to call.

Seek the Lord (J e s u s) today while He may be found. Tomorrow might be too late. Repent of your sins and trust only in Him. Read your bible (not the mormons/jehovahs witness') daily. Ask Elohim to reveal Himself to you. Test all spirits (1 John 4:1-6). Pray without ceasing. Everything will come to an end. Dont fear and dont go for the 6/6/6. God will provide for you. Choose life, not eternity in Hell. Be aware of the music u listen to. Stop Watch mainstream tv and listen with discernment. Repent of your idolatry. The voices you hear, the thing you see in the mirror are demons, pray for delivrance, go and find a biblical church! Yoga will mess you up. You're inviting d3mons into your life, your home. Your kids will continue to have nightmares and be anxious. Muslims, عيسى ابن مريم is Lord and He'll not come to kill christians, He'll come to judge all who didnt accept Him as Lord and Saviour. Stop fearing your family, they'll know you're a christian so what? If you lose your earthly life, you'll gain eternal life with Elohim. The Christian life isnt about your 'best life now' and 'I deserve good', you're no good! You're a sinner just like I am. Kneel down to Yeshua only. Dont fear, dont worry. Some 'christians' are wolves. Dont focus on speaking in tongues, everyone has their own spiritual gift. Devil worshippers also 'speak' in tongues. If there's none to translate the speaking in tongues, then be quiet! 1 Corinthians 14:19. Wives submit to your husband, husband love your wife as God loves His people. Even if they dont 'deserve' it. Even if they are not born again christians. Be born again if you want to enter Gods kingdom. Stop watching porn. Stop listening to evil music, stop listening to murder stories, stop contemplating suicide, stop using drugs. stop having s*x outside of mariage, stop masturbating. Stop visualizing and manifesting, stop using cards and sorcery. Galatians 5:19-21. If the christians/pastor you hang out with talk about being wealth and health as gifts for all christians: run, fast! Christian life is not la vie en rose, it is hard! It's to take up your cross and follow Yeshua. It's die to self all day err day (your life lived as a living sacrifice for the Lord). But you'll be rewarded at the end. People will hate you because of your faith. They'll even wanna kill ya. Read Matthew 10: Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Love your enemies, I know it's hard, still do good to them. Dont put your health in danger because of FOMO, many pand emics will come. Fear not --trust in the Lord!Pray for discernment. Stop (sexual) immorality. Teens and kiddos, dont think G-d will not judge you, He will! All people who'll not repent of their sins will burn in hell forever. White lies are lies. Abortion is murder. Dressing up as a woman when you're a man is a sin. Man + man is sin. Hate sin. Love Elohim with all your mind, heart, soul, strength. Glorify Him alone. He loves you that's why he sent his one and only son to die for you so that you would not have to go to hell because of your sins. God is a holy God and hates sin. He'll help you overcome your sins if you just let Him lead you. Seek Christians for fellowship. Read your bible like the living Word of God. Out of the matrix. Love of money if the root to all evil. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Pray always. People will forsake you, family too. Dont mind to much. Love on them. Show love to your ennemies. God may deliver them. Make sure your name is written in the book of life. Eternity is long, endless. U dont want to be burning in Hell.

So well said. I am from Los Angeles and when a fire burnt down our house, we moved to the forest, near Ave of the Giants. I always wanted to be self sufficient, because as a single mom, with autistic twins, we had to struggle to survive. Miracle Run is a movie made about our life. So we bought 13 acres of land and I am growing many veggies, have an endless supply of water, and though we have electricity, in a moments notice I can live the same way as without it.

My husband and I are so blessed to have left the rural tiny house isolation and limitations. We have found what works for us and focusing on God. We are so grateful to have left the rural countryside and its stresses behind and the Lord has blessed us to do so.

So happy to find your channel. I'm in a motel room right now, having just toured a home I'm considering moving to, in a town on an island with a population of less than 300. I currently live in a metro area with more than 2 million people. 😳 I'm terrified to make the move, but I can't put into words the feeling I got when I saw this house online earlier in the week. I just had to come and see it. I haven't been able to sleep. I'm heart sick over this house and the lifestyle it represents. I'm just now getting back into your channel because I have been loving how you have chosen to live your life and live with a broader connection to the land. It makes my Indigenous heart happy. I'd love a video of the actual switch to SOLAR power when you and your husband get the funds and can do it. I just got a tiny house on the land in which i grew up and we're connecting electricity now but eventually though, when I have the funds as well, I want to make that switch to solar. Love your passion 💜 I have been homesteading for 10 years now on 10 acres and it is so fulfilling and rewarding, but also the hardest job I have every had!! The term “homestead” has some pretty strong negative connotations and there’s an active movement to utilize a different word that doesn’t perpetuate harm. Please look into that and take it into consideration moving forward ✨

Hi Carrie, have been loving watching your journey. I live in semi-rural NZ on a half acre (on town water supply, and rubbish collection, but in farmland, not town). It was my dream to put my feet in the earth and watch the grass (and herbs and veges) grow up around me. This dream finally came to us last year only a couple of weeks before lockdown hit NZ. We've had snow, drought, winds, floods and I still couldn't be anywhere else in the world and be any happier than I feel right now.

California spews so much about sustainability blah blah blah, yet they have No Self Respect! California has turned into a Sodom and Gomorrah playground! I have a lot of family in Santa Ynez, San Diego, Los Angeles, many parts are beautiful! It’s nice to visit and that’s it! New Zealand looks beautiful/peaceful! We’ve talked about moving to the country, we love our home, we are inches from our neighbors which sucks, but we can listen to the hummingbirds, birds in general, where we live there wasn’t a lot of traffic until they started developing more, which sucks! We have a beautiful backyard, trees, vines, plants, veggies, granted not much room, but for now we are okay until we can retire.
