It's so hard to not miss someone when they grew up with you, when their mere scent has reeked throughout day that them leaving seems eerie. Their presence, though you never volunteering-ly acknowledged it, you knew they would be there. The person who saw your worst stage and never left, the person that heard all your accomplishments and never snarked and the person that had every right to leave but stayed. Today I have taken for granted the love I had, their side empty, their existence elsewhere, sure they aren't gone forever, but you slowly start to realize how your bond may gradually drift, how your worth may slowly lessen, and how your heart may gradually tighten. The voices that speak shall disappear, not now, not tomorrow; but one day, we'll be looking at sunny skies, their presence now treasured, as you now finally know their worth. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. The peace that this world provides is but temporary. As soon as it hits us, it is gone. The peace that gives us is peace everlasting. Jesus saved me from cocaine addiction, anorexia, bulimia and suicidal thoughts. This world is crumbling apart, we must not put our hopes in it. He calls everyone, everywhere, to turn to Him.

"However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them." -- John 6.37

If you turn to Him, he will save you. He doesn't care about your walk. He can make you clean from all unrighteousness. And that is not of your doing. He cleanses the thief, pardons the prostitute, renews the blasphemer. Just as long as you put your trust in Him.
