These are adventures bikes or Offroads … where are the touring
ОтветитьGreat work Bob as always!
To answer your question: I'll definitely get a hydrogen bike, i do like the idea very much.
Ride safe
Marcelo
Driving a motorcycle, there must be CAREUD TPMS safer.
ОтветитьHydrogen? Maybe, But where the heck will I find Hydrogen
ОтветитьThe problem is the only people who can afford these bikes. Are people who will buy them. Ride once maybe twice. And then they will sit in their 3& garage. Standing next to their Porsche..When they get bored.. And realize they are scared to ride it.
ОтветитьI test road V-Strom 800RE on November. Lovely bike, really fast at any revs, comfortable to sit, quickshifter and gearbox much better than Transalp. But that windshield is insanely bad. It starts buffeting at like 30-40 miles per hour and it's much worse than just annoying. At high speeds you can feel your arms moving handlebars, because buffeting is so strong.
I do not comprehend how they thought it was acceptable to put such a garbage on otherwise such a nice bike. It would be significantly better without any windscreen at all. And it's not just about your helmet, it's about all your body, including hands, torso and all (I'm 183cm (6 feet), but I don't think height matters as it starts at slow speeds and impacts the whole body, not just helmet).
Really surprised you missed the new Moto Guzzi V100 Stelvio. I own a V100S Mandello and it is fantastic.
ОтветитьWhere is mg stelvio? 😀
ОтветитьAnd you ignored the HONDA TRANSALP not clever !!
ОтветитьI've tried a lot of touring bikes and none comes close to the BMW RT, it's just sublime
ОтветитьHydrogen Kawi... It is a rolling bomb
ОтветитьUnless I missed it I’m disappointed to see no mention of the bmw r1250rs. I’m aware there’s no “new” announcement for the 2024 model year but even though, I see this as a missed opportunity
ОтветитьThis segment just keeps getting better. Some great choices, from bottom to top. I put thousands of miles on my bikes every year, and I can't get past, though, having to deal with the legendary problems with the Europeans in particular. A touring setup implies there is a v. high probability you will make it to your destination without mechanical incident every time: in this segment that's not a luxury, but a requirement. My V-Strom 1K and, now, Super Tenere give me that reliable peace-of-mind, even though they might not rip as hard or have as many "features". With some minor upgrades I can hang with the best of them and can provide that spur-of-the-moment ride home for my buddies with BMWs with over 20K miles on them.
ОтветитьI am on my second Ducati Multistrada, but now that I am retired I will not be able to afford these bikes anymore, I hope my 2021 model lasts a long time.
ОтветитьThis is the category that I ride. Thanks Bob.
ОтветитьGSX S1000GX catches my eyes. I will look forward this blue color whenever i move to japan.
ОтветитьStill nothing that will tear my 2015 GSA from my 60 yr old half million mile ass hands. It takes years to sculpt a comfortable steed and mine is so perfect now I cannot part with her. Sorry 2024 new girls on the block.
ОтветитьUhhhhh. Honda Transalp, anyone?
ОтветитьThe seat on the Tenere makes me question how somebody so stupid got into the Yamaha design department. And that people agreed with them.
ОтветитьI would like to say after have watched many other MC channels that I like yours the best. You are knowledgeable and bring up everything about a bike that you could think of. You are for the most part unbiased and if not you do point out what is your flavor and why. Also you sound interesting and excited without being as loud as your American counterparts. Cheers
ОтветитьGreat video 👍 However, I miss my MV Agusta Turismo Veloce...😥
ОтветитьAnything that is considered a “tourer” should include cruise, especially since rbw is the standard now for most. Not hard to accomplish. There , I have spoken 🫨. Ha. 👍🤪🎄🏳️🌈
ОтветитьMissed: BMW R1250RS, Yamaha FJR1300, Kawasaki Versys 1000, Moto Guzzi V100, Ducati's V2 models
ОтветитьUp for any non electric bike. I hate evs.
ОтветитьDid you forget the Multistrada RS? Or I just missed that one 😅
ОтветитьWhere are the Moto Guzzi Maranello and Stevia?
ОтветитьTwo things from me: 1. Suzuki make some great bikes, but their decision to close their dealers would mean I wouldn’t consider them. 2. I think hydrogen has missed the boat now, electric infrastructure is what is going in now, so no one is going to create parallel hydrogen infrastructure.
ОтветитьInterested in some of them for my next bike , but bugger all shaft drive bike ???? :((
ОтветитьThe BMW K1600GTL is superior to the GW. Ride them both and see for yourself.
ОтветитьI really think that Hydrogen is the best option and the way to go
ОтветитьBikes have become unaffordable
Ответить100% for the hydrogen motor bike. Hydrogen is the future
ОтветитьThought the Goldwing was discontinued for this year! They must of had a change of heart.
ОтветитьThe prices of bikes these days are absolutely insane.
ОтветитьWhy can't other brands also use gearboxes like Honda's DCT? I don't want to bother with gears but I also want to ride these bikes. :(
ОтветитьHydrogen if popular or pushed by govt will increase on availability it’s cleaner and continues to use the ICE. Lithium is dirt6 to min and still uses fossil fuels to generate
ОтветитьTouring & Adv Too heavy ‘ too tall ,too pricy for what they are . Changed my F750 GS to a Ducati super sport S I wish I have done that 4 years ago 🎉
ОтветитьWhat about the CFmoto 800mt?
ОтветитьOut of all the bikes mentioned, only 2 come with apple carplay and android auto - the NT 1100, and the goldwing. The only other bike I’m aware of with this feature is the cfmoto 800mt explore or touring.
Everything else needs a finicky app that barely ever works to be hooked up to the bike. Some even require yearly subscriptions *cough*yamaha*cough*.
All the bikes shown here have standard digital gauges and would easily accommodate this feature. For being touring bikes, this is laughable. they need to step up.
Where is the BMW R1250rs?
ОтветитьWait, the panniers are full of hydrogen canisters? lol
Go home kawasaki, you're drunk.
Is the Kawi burning hydrogen or fuel cell (ie and electric vehicle with hydrogen to generate electricity)?
ОтветитьGreat video but I think the Moto Guzzi Stelvio should be on this list
ОтветитьNo hybrids
ОтветитьAWESOME VIDEO FANTASTIC I ENJOY
ОтветитьCan you mention some long touring bike for short riders please ❤
ОтветитьNice video. But am I wrong in thinking you sound a lot calmer than you usually do?
Ответить
