When I was 15 years old, I wore a pair of Uggs because it was winter, but Mommy said, "Uggs are baby shoes! You are an adult! Put on your flats!" When I put on my flats, Mommy said, "those are summer shoes! Put on your Uggs!" When I put on my Uggs, Mommy said, "those are baby shoes! Put your flats back on!" So, I put my flats back on. I went to church wearing my flats. My feet were freezing. I asked Mommy if I could wear my Uggs since it was winter and she said, "ladies don't wear Uggs. That's only what babies wear. You're an adult." When I was 16 years old, I felt like I was too old to wear Uggs. Now, Mommy wears Uggs during the fall and winter. And she tells me that I'm too old for them. I'm 26 and she's 50. If she's not too old to wear Uggs, why am I?

The 80’s and 90’s are wrong!!! I grew up then I never saw those horrible boots! We wore jelly shoes!!! If they wore them in the 90’s it was because they were still trending!

Jelly sandles were HUGE in the inner cities of Philadelphia, NY, and the like in the early to mid 1980s. Especially in the Italian, Hispanic, and Black cultures, they wore them and sold them in the street markets way before the 90s. People need to do their research
