The Songbird Duo is a husband/wife musical duo featuring vocalist Kim Wren, and pianist, Dave Becherer. Kim's vocals are beautiful, powerful, arresting, and crystal clear. Dave is respected as one of St. Louis' top jazz pianists. These two seasoned professionals have formed one of the finest musical duo's in St. Louis. Their elegant music is highly polished and flawlessly presented.

The Songbird Duo performs a very wide range of music. In addition to drawing large amounts of classic standards from the American Songbook, they surprise audiences with covers from modern jazz singers such as Norah Jones and Esperanza Spalding, classic adult favorites by the Beatles, Bon Jovi, the Carpenters, Carole King and even Journey as well as modern pop artists such as Adelle, Taylor Swfit, Sarah Bareillis, Ingrid Michaelson, Plain White Ts and the Lumineers, All the arrangements are delivered with a consistent, elegant, polished presentation, bearing the distinct Songbird Sound that brings it all together and makes it gel!

This group is perfect for public venues, private parties and weddings, and their diverse sets deliver favorites for all ages! The Songbird duo can be expanded to a trio or a quartet depending on the size and need of the event.
