I’d definitely donate to that
ОтветитьThe whole episode was great. It's not only making fun of crap startup companies who do practically nothing but also how companies will capitalize on culture or race just like the "Redskins." Native American people have found the name offensive for generations and asked them to change the name but they were always turned down. Now here, the "Redskins" feel they are being exploited and taken advantage of and are demanding the same thing Native American Indians asked them to do for years. They act like they’re victims that are being oppressed, referring to their brand as their "people" that must be protected. That's why there's a lot of battle and ritualistic music playing during their scenes to reflect this irony. It's all very clever and really funny.
ОтветитьAnd the hut hut duplicates Randy's giant hot hot crap.
ОтветитьRavens character was ray rice
ОтветитьSouth Park doesn’t mess around
ОтветитьTo answer his question on which NFL player was charged for Domestic Violence it was Ray Rice
ОтветитьRay Rice uppercut his wife in the elevator
ОтветитьNiccccce
Ответитьthat dudes eyes!!!!
ОтветитьI think the backstory of this episode went over dude's head.
The Redskins were catching flack for their name and logo disrespecting native americans, so they released the trademark. That's why they're the COmmanders now. Cartman's Company were blatantly doing the same thing to the Reskins football team in the episode. The football team acted as the indians, and cartmans company was the redskins irl.
I hate this...as a Washington fan lol. But F Dan Schneider for life.
ОтветитьFor me, the interesting part more than the kickstarter thing is the entire fake moral situation and virtue signalling. Getting offended by everything, harassing and attacking others like bullies if they don't share your exact extremist opinion. This identity obsession has ruined a lot of brands and is making many people to lose their jobs.
Ответитьsohut park
ОтветитьRay Rice
ОтветитьThe reference to that old commercial with the guy crying is so fuckin funny
ОтветитьThe irony in this episode was genius lol
ОтветитьI think it was ray rice
ОтветитьI was really sad when my team the Edmonton Eskimos Had to change to the Elks now it’s just white people on branding.
ОтветитьObviously, this is playing off of the idea that Native American culture has been continuously exploited in this country. That is why the Redskins football team is playing the part of the victims and their scenes are accompanied with native music. What happened with the Redkskins team is the same reason they don't do "the chop" any more at sporting events. While also commenting on how absurd crowd funding can get. You don't even need a cause, because all you really need are people willing to give you their money. Likewise with religious donations and the sporting organizations in general. I love the Goodell bot, LMAO! The hologram special episodes were actually the end of the season episodes but they kept the story running for the following season. Season 18 Episode 3 "The Cissy" is when Cartman tries to go transgender... in order to get his own restroom at school.
ОтветитьGreat video as always
ОтветитьCould you watch the episode You've got F in the A
ОтветитьComment 4 the algorithm 😘
ОтветитьRay Rice from the Baltimore Ravens was the one that beat his wife in the elevator
Ответитьi know Ray Rice. our families came up together in New Rochelle and every time i hear a reference to the elevator incident i'm just like "damn, if people only knew how good of a person he is and the things he has been doing for our people out here from day 1". yeah he f'd up but he aint THAT type of person in the least bit.. i mean i known him since we was kids and he was like one of the only kids our age not gang banging and hustling. i aint his promoter or nothing but i think people should at least see him in a better light because he aint the way they portray him.
ОтветитьCan u react to 4x7
ОтветитьThis episode, "Gluten Free Ebola" and "The Cissy" are my favorite episodes of this season. "Grounded Vindaloop" is also good because it's a bit of a mindfuck. :D
I also want to recommend "Stupid Spoiled Wh*re Video Playset" from season 8 if you haven't seen it yet. It's one of my all time fav episodes of SP.
Here's a solid
ОтветитьYou missed like 5 minutes of the entire episode which is part of the best part. Why start here? You don't know the full context unless you seen this episode before
Ответитьthe joke is tons of people did this on kickstarter and took everyone's money
Ответитьplease react to the episode let go let gov
ОтветитьI kinda feel like you didn't actually... get it? Everything the redskins owner said to cartman about changing the name is pretty much exactly what actual native americans said to the redskins owner
and like, the whole episode riffed off of the redskins acting like stereotypical native americans
like the raid on kickstarter, with the pseudo-tribal music in the background lol
This was hilarious.
ОтветитьThe Washington Redskins is another example of why you can’t be jumping ahead in seasons because you’re missing references and backstory please just watch season by season don’t jump to the new new episodes because your missing references so you’re gonna be watching episodes thinking what’s that about I don’t get it and then a week or two later you watch an episode and you’re like oh now I get it.
Or maybe announce which episode you’re going to watch next and then us original 20+ year South Park fans can say hey hold up a minute watch that episode first before you watch that one 👊🏻
Start to finish I frigging love this episode. From the Parody of teams not changing insensitive names, to the NFL blasting, to the unnecessarily brilliant Jerry Jones jokes.... Great stuff my guy! Keep up with the season but for another hilarious NFL episode (featuring Randy and Butters) check out the episode "Sarcastaball"
ОтветитьLater seasons do require you to see the season in order to really understand some things. Like the whole Cartman and Heidi saga.
ОтветитьFor the algorithm
ОтветитьKicking off Season 18 from the beginning, nice! And yeah that hologram special you saw it’s all connected, definitely watch each episode, it explains everything
ОтветитьLove it
ОтветитьThis wasn't a Cowboys vs Indians thing, this was Washington Redskins vs Actual Native Americans thing. Do you not remember all that when Redskins changed their name? lol
ОтветитьClergy don't have wives, bro!
ОтветитьThe reference to cartmans own bathroom is from the cis gender episode where they keep calling them cissies and cartman becomes trans super good too
Ответить
