This has been a good offseason so far for the raiders. We got competency at every level in the coaching staff so there isn't question marks there. Our GM is doing good moves in signing good talent for cheap and not overpaying. Losing Spillane hurts but seeing his contract it hurt less. We have a great QB who shows he can get 10 wins with the second worse o-line in the league (if you saw that seahawks/packers game then you know how fucked Sam Howell was against an ok d-line). The draft will be stacked with good talent all around and Spytek has been shown to Draft good cause he basically started drafting players in 2018. Cautiously optimistic for next season and we shall were it takes us.

Lol....Kenneth Walker's prime?!

Dude is constantly banged up, and his numbers have gotten worse every year.

And as for the Darnold deal, he's cheaper, younger, has significantly more upside than Geno, and if he doesn't work out it's no worse than a lateral move under center.

Yes, Seattle needs to fix the O-line, and hopefully they can start doing so through the draft. But Sam wasn't exactly playing behind an elite O-line in Minnesota either.

Anyways.....(sigh).....enjoy Geno. If you really think he's a good QB, you'll know better soon enough.

In my opinion as a packers fan I think that right now Justin Fields is a better QB than A rod bc of his mobility which i think makes up enough for field's bad passing but still barely an upgrade unless fields really develops more

I'm completely okay with my hawks moves so far. I was never a DK fan but hoped for the best for him. Tyler I was bummed about but his contract didn't match the play and his age played a part. Geno is way older than Sam so I say give him a shot and draft a qb either this year or next and develop them.

As an eagles fan, I’m cautiously optimistic. I want to see what Howie does in the draft. I think him and Vic definitely have a solid idea of who they’re going to pick up and how to do so.

We do have a lot of depth and I see the vision of having all young players on the defense, but if we don’t draft well, then it kind of goes to shit. Either way, we just won a SB and if we don’t go back this upcoming season it’s not a big deal. It seems like a lot of these moves are geared towards making this team great in 2-3 seasons while also keeping our salary situation in the green.

Most older fans didn’t think they’d see a Super Bowl appearance in their lifetime and now we’ve got 3 and 2 wins. I can afford to be patient with this team.

Slay had said himself he doesn’t have much left, and once you start talking like that especially when you start coming out of games frequently you’re going to regress. I have loved Sweaty J and Milton, but their opportunities to make the plays they have come from the main focus being stopping Jalen Carter, add on we have Jordan Davis and Nolan Smith who are developing very well in Vic’s system they just need depth players that can be consistent. Sweaty and Milton earned a payday so I’m glad they’re getting paid what they’ve earned the past couple years. Rodgers was more of a presence player not the big play corner some are talking him up to be. Even then look at every time throughout the season when he came in QBs targeted receivers being covered by him. Not to say he’s bad but he’s bad enough to make every QB feel more comfortable throwing his direction. CJ my brother in Christ I hope we can get you back again BUT considering he’s never been one to shy away from saying what he wants when he wants and telling his truth and him saying it was on good terms leaves me with hope he’ll be back. With that being said I feel it was a protection for the locker room move because he was kinda saying he had beef with slay and then retracting and then calling it jumping to conclusions when it became evident and it doesn’t matter if slays not on the team anymore when you go after a legend like slay the locker room is not going to be happy. Whether slay was throwing shade or not there are players that played more with Slay than CJGJ. He can be what Philadelphia wants to see but at the same time not be what the Eagles want if that makes sense.

The nice part of me, which is basically just me, me 😅, can't help but want these guys, who seem like pretty good dudes, to have success in their new jobs. At the same time you realize it's just statistically not going to happen that way. Such a weird thing when you think about how we really feel towards guys playing sports and mostly base those feelings on how we feel about the team that they are employed by.

Dude honestly we deserve this as hawks fans because of all the completely ungrateful and hateful comments to Geno. Absolutely ignoring the obvious fact that the Oline is absolutely trash and he had no time ever, while havin top 5 yards, coming in clutch, and giving us a winning season and race to a playoff spot

I can’t help but feel like everyone is jumping the gun completely on Sam Darnold. He’s still pretty young and bar 2 games last year, which are literally his only experience with meaningful games in his entire NFL career, he was pretty fucking great. I don’t think it’s fair at all to judge. Obviously the contract situation is something else but that’s kinda just how contracts are now. He deserves so much more credit than everyone is giving him. Maybe he sucks this year but idk, the disrespect just seems like recency bias.
