I understand what you are saying completely. So many people think that everyone is supposed to have another, be in a relationship, etc. I have been single the majority of my adult life, by choice. I'm fit, go to the gym, financially secure take pride in my appearance and healthy lifestyle. I look at a lot of people and feel sorry for them, for the fact that can't be happy unless they have someone else to complete themselves. Potential divorce statistic in my opinion. Generally speaking, celibacy is much easier and less harmful for psychological and physical health for females versus males. There's exceptions, ofc. Typical heterosexual male must be very careful in selecting a companion because few females possess strong libido's. This is my perception bason studies. As for females, they can enjoy a Generally longer lifespan thanks to the absence of a constant need to have a mate and remain sexually active.

I have been single and celibate for 8 years now. In this time I have realized there will not be a day that I won’t be working on me. It’s an ever changing thing. There are times I miss another’s company and I start crying but I do love being me and I’m not ready yet. I fall in love too easily and get hurt very quickly so in the meantime I’m happy where I’m at and where I’m going.
