One thing I noticed is that when I friended my daughter who ha a Nintendo switch, I have a ps4. If I send her an invite to a game to play it doesn't notify her for like 10 minutes. Idk what that is about then it just never loads into the game.

I dont know why I done it this way but once it started to connect it wouldn't. So I had to buy realms for 2 people and I had to transfer my world to realms to. I dont know why that was the only way it worked for me

I set it up easily enough on PS4 to play friends on x box. Switch to play with PS4 is a different animal. Can't get it to work.

I can't get it to work, we don't show up on each others friends lists in game(world select) I've linked a Microsoft account to the Ps4 and the switch. Both of these accounts have live membership. Do the Microsoft accounts have to be gold? This could be this issue as they're both silver accounts due to me switching to ps4 many years ago. One last thing, we show up on each others friends list in cross platform as offline. So when I send and invite and accept it I get a message saying the world no longer exists. Please help so I can play minecraft with my daughter ❤️

Through further experience and test I’ve come to an answer. Yes you can play featured servers. How to do this is both consoles have to have a Microsoft account and be logged into a server. Then you search for a friend through the party or friends list and type in their name. After it should send them a friend request you add your friend and connect to their party and your good. Hope this helped for those people who are confused or new to it.

Thank you 😊 helped my sis play with her friend on my switch! If you guys have any trouble when it wouldn’t connect try both of you closing the game and opening it back up. Join the world on the switch first then invite the ps4 account, or rather they should see the world on the friends page

I have my daughters acciunt on switch which is version 1.16.201 (same as ipad) but the ps4 version is newer none of the other devices in the house can see my son on ps4 amd join but my sons ps4 can see the ipad or switch and connection times out?? Any ideas
