I only had $40 to upgrade a budget keyboard

me chillin with a blue switch keyboard:

i modded my keyboard with 0 dollars. i had a cheap keycap puller around that could pull switches as well and i used a paint brush to lube the switches with hair gel. i opened the switches with my fingers and a screwdriver.

I can't understand the point of buying something to gut it and put something else instead.
When I bought my keyboard I just used it and just changed the keycaps later on for puddings so I could see the light better at night.
This is so spoiled.

Fun fact for you, with tiny flathead screw drivers you can open up switches by sticking up the clips on the side to which i did before owning a switch opener its simple and effective.

my friend lubed a keyboard with vaseline i dont know how but it wasnt sounding bad

i used only cotton to mod my keyboard and it costed me 0$ becasue the cotton is free and the rest i used with my hands
