ОтветитьHey ımportant question lets say you got an good grade ın Ib exams ,Can you still attend to an university /collage after a year with your last points ?? (Im asking this because ın my school if you stay for one more year you can get 2 diplomas but would that affect anything ?)
Ответитьi got the scholarship at my school and they offered me the IB diploma. But I don't really know if this course is really hard?
ОтветитьCan I get any advises about Ib as I'm planning to join in an ib school in singapore
ОтветитьDo you get a scholarship to college if you score high in IB ?
Ответитьthe thing is my school’s tuition is VERY expensive because of IB so if i fail, i’m both dissappointing AND wasting their money. it’s so stressful
ОтветитьIt makes me want to die, honestly 😃
ОтветитьI’m gonna kill my self because of it
Ответитьyou are exceptional in so many ways! your parents must be so proud. more importantly, i hope YOU are proud of you!!
Ответитьparent here: i BEGGED my kids NOT to do IB. it's so lock-stepped. awful
ОтветитьGreat video! Question: am I able to take the IB exam if I'm NOT in an IB school? If so, how can I start the process?
ОтветитьIf you have total control over your phone and how long you stay on it then either you’re lying or you’re something… special
ОтветитьAP test do require all of writing.
Ответитьi wanna level this school honestly
ОтветитьHey, I am researching on options after my O levels. The straight-forward answer would be A levels however it's rather theoretical compared to IB, which forms a well-rounded student. I want to focus on education rather than a degree. Which do u think is better, A levels or IB after completing O levels.
Andd, i know that i could apply to a university after A levels, is this the case with IB too?
I did Hl history , ela and theater, standard level Chinese, math, and bio , plus tok and cas. I survived never killed nobody. Finished on time and I’m lazy
ОтветитьI’m doing an IB elementary and continuing in high school and I just don’t know if I want to do it it rlly seems like their is not a point ahhhhhhhh 😭
Ответитьbro i didn't even get a choice to take IB at my school (maybe because it's the first year) they just threw a bunch of 10th graders into the program for 11th grade.
ОтветитьYo I am having my finals in less than a week and I know imma fail god bless me I regret taking IB yaass😇
ОтветитьGurl I’m doing IB this is my last year (sophomore), being able to relax and have a social life 😟
ОтветитьFrom a former ib student in high school and middle school I would highly recommend people to just take dual enrollment at your local community college if you can. Saves a whole bunch of time and money and by the time you graduate you are guaranteed to be a sophomore pretty much and not relying on hoping your you get your diploma and or the credits transfer to the college you want. I would also recommend taking your sophomore year at this community college too then just transferring to whatever university you would like 👍
ОтветитьThis was very helpful info. My daughter did very well her 1st semester in IB. She says it’s A LOT of work and I try not to bother her too much because even if I am doing something for her, she’ll scream, “what mom?” in that, I’m stressed out right now voice.
ОтветитьWhat amount of outside activities and hobbies would be too much to have success in IB? (For the average upper achieving student) my daughter has 6hrs of ballet per week, piano =2 to 3 hrs, 3 hrs german school Saturdays with homework. And the IB program suggest and average of 1-2hrs of homework per day, and I assume that is an under estimate. Is IB possible with these outside activities?
ОтветитьIf you are in America it makes very little sense to do IB. AP just gives more credit and takes up less time while still giving a rigorous experience. There is plenty of essay writing in AP and you can do the AP Capstone program if you want research experience. American college admissions cares more about you having meaningful ECs, so it doesn't make sense to risk having all of your time gobbled up by IB.
ОтветитьTo use a military analogy, IB is like a boot camp. AP is like doing JROTC. The latter is still hard, but ultimately easier to escape or minimize the role of or BS your way through than the former.
ОтветитьWhat would be the parents role for
the students in IB
What level of parents involvement would require for the IB?
What kind of support parents should provide to the students of IB?
What are the career options for the students in these boards IB?
If the students studied in the IB wanted to write NEET or IIT etc, what should be the approach?
Approximate fees for the IB?
What are under graduation program options for the IB?
What are post graduation program options for the IB?
Im in grade 9 and im signing up for highschool rn i was about to sign up for ib and if i hadn't searched this up i wouldve been dying in pain, so thank you for this video
ОтветитьI did IB, my score isn't even that great (I was aiming for a 40 and only got a 38), but I think it's totally worth it. I actually started appreciating education, like I know why I am learning instead of wondering what's all this hard work for. The skills I developed during IB, especially critical thinking skills and research skills, transfer to uni and work. I think it's so much better than the local education system and if you can take IB, I say take IB.
ОтветитьIm a junior attending a full IB school, and I will say that the myp programs are very duable. They are extremely challenging (lots of work, tests, midterms, finals, etc). However for the diplomatic program, it gets about 10x harder from there. You have to complete CAS, EE, internal assessments in your senior year, along with midterms, IB exams, and finals. I barely get to sleep because of all the extracurriculars I do, and I won't say it's completely good because you dont really get to have that high school experience regular high schools have. I suggest you to go to an ib school or take ib classes if you are willing to work hard everyday, do your work, study for all your tests, and are passionate about doing well in school. Otherwise, if youre a slacker, I recommend to not go.
ОтветитьI always used to be confused as to all the complaints with IB since all of the students In my school seemed to actually enjoyed it an it even seemed more chill than regular classes. Didn’t realize that my school actually wanted to make their IB program seem so chill :/
Ответитьi have a question, do i need to go to IB school do go to an internatinal school?
Ответитьbasically my GPA will drop 2 atleast if I take IB instead of AP
ОтветитьWhy the hell am I in a Ib school
ОтветитьNgl IB kids have a persecution complex. The education is great, the requirements (set by IB, not the teachers) are extremely lenient, and the content isnt that advanced in a lot of the classes if you took all of the prerequisites. I dont regret IB, but something my counselor simply didnt tell is that SL credits dont actually do anything in most colleges, only HL counts for anything.
Having said that, I recommend taking the HLs that will be easiest, regardless of your interests. Something like HL physics or math will land you with less credit if you're not extremely capable at the content (and have a good teacher). Theres a 95% chance that your SL credits wont get you anything, even if the college accepts IB credit. You'll then have to basically retake the classes in college that you took for 2 years in high school even though you already know all of the content, which also makes the classes a drag.
In my experience, if you know what you want to do in college and care more about the education than the actual credit, take IB. If you're the opposite, do AP. AP is much more difficult and less regulated class to class though so IB is still almost a safer bet in that regard. Each AP class can be run like it's the only class you have and it ends up being a ton of work, whereas in IB things are made to be as easy as possible for the students without having them fall behind and the teachers will sometimes coordinate all of that work to make it easier on the student.
Anyone considering joining IB but you feel dissuaded by students talking about how "difficult" it is, dont be dissuaded. It's a great program and if you listen in class you've done 50% of the work you need. Semi decent study habits and you're in the clear.
Lastly, just a quick favor to those of you considering IB: if you join, dont whine about how difficult it is. Not to beat a dead horse, but loads of kids are dissuaded by this and it really messes up their education prospects just so whoever is whining could get some pity sympathy.
I'm seriously thinking about leaving this is way too much stress for no reason
Ответитьsame sister same
ОтветитьLast 2 years???? I have to do it for 4 year in my high-school
ОтветитьWhat did you do for your EE?
ОтветитьHaha I’m in danger 🥲 I start September
ОтветитьNgl tho having done the IB is SUCH A FLEX! I got a higher score than world average and even though it ain’t a 45, I love having pride on the work I did
ОтветитьIB school is stressful af
