Too large on your wrist and most wrists. Sea Dweller vs Sub? Its like having an iPhone that's twice as think as a regular phone, but with the same screen size. And it can make phone calls as far as Saturn but noone will ever call anyone there. I can't think of one actual, practical or aesthetic advantage of the Sea Dweller over a Submariner. Forget about the Dive Depth (even 300m is beyond normal human capabilies). I've seen people wearing them in real life, one word springs to mind: BULKY.
ОтветитьNow I'm just wondering what kind of surgeon you are ;) I'd imagine, cardiothoracic (that would be my dream role) Beautiful collection. I love your videos and the pieces you have collected! Best Wishes
ОтветитьMy heart races a bit when removing stickers. The excitement that the watch really becomes yours. And that scary feeling that there's no turning back from there.
Ответитьa submariner 116613 with a blue dial is my dream watch reply yours
ОтветитьThe Rolex SD43 Sea Dweller is a beautiful big watch. It fits you well LWC. The big sea dweller is a tough man watch like Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwatzerneger.
ОтветитьCongratulations buddy, wear it in god health!!!
What will you be treating yourself for Christmas?
Is beauty... is great.. And the Best is SEIKO Marinemaster hi-beat!!! Thanks
ОтветитьLove your collection and i am very happy to see it grow. I hope i can achieve similar after my studies. Started watch collecting this year with a Tag Heuer Aquaracer Calibre 5 and thinking about buying a Speedmaster reduced for my 20th Birthday.
ОтветитьLooks great on your wrist. Perfect I'd say. Keep it
ОтветитьI wished you compared it with a typical Rolex size watch. I have heard the Seadweller and/or Deepsea is much thicker then the GMT or Sub.
ОтветитьI couldn't believe you sold your first SD 43...I was shocked. I'm glad you bought another one. I have this watch and just love it.
ОтветитьMarc Goldberg just got his new SD 43 about a month ago. He has the new Mark II dial with the Rolex mini crown at the 6 position, in between the "swiss made" logo. Your model, like mine, is the older dial without the little crown (Mark I). I'm not referring to the etched crown in the sapphire crystal, but a small white crown applied to the dial. The little crown is the only difference between the Mark I and Mark II dials.
ОтветитьOut of interest for comparison, what is your wrist size? Thanks. Love the videos.
ОтветитьLooks fine. Has great wrist presence. Enjoy.
ОтветитьGlad to see you decided to repurchase the watch. I love mine!!
Also - kudos on getting the Mark I.
We don’t want that pesky coronet between the ‘Swiss’ and ‘Made.’
⭐️✅👍
What do you Think about the "matte brown" Dial. I know that ist not so deep black as the Submariner. Do you Owners love the this brown Dial of the 126600 ?
ОтветитьExcellent review and presentation. I wear mine everyday. My favourite in my small collection. Thanks for lifting my level of appreciation for this beautiful piece.
ОтветитьReally nice watch and great fit!!
ОтветитьHow did you get the Rolex board? 😊
ОтветитьThese watches are very impressive! It has so many things going for it. Revised case, new 70 hr movement, Red “Sea Dweller”, matte dial, quick adjust buckle etc.
I can understand why they are so very hard to find.
I like rolex,breitling and hublot
ОтветитьSome tasty footage there! I think this may be my next watch.
ОтветитьHi I wanted to egtthis watch for my husband. How much is this in London since we are travelling should I get it there? Thanks
Ответить43mm case
Wider 22mm/19mm bracelet
Red text 'sea-dweller'
Cyclops
Newer movememt with 70hrs reserve
Slightly raised crystal edge
60 second markers etc etc
I have a 17-1/2" wrist and like the Breitlings but wanted something not quite so blingy. This would work nicely as a suit watch or casual I think. It does not look to sit as high as the Breitling Avenger series.
ОтветитьDude, the card says 2018 however the dial is a Mk 1 making it a '17, what gives (the '18 Mk 2 dials have a coronet between Swiss & Made in the 6 o clock position)
ОтветитьM8 do u know if someone makes a good rubber strap for this piece? Cheers
ОтветитьAmazing unboxing / sticker pealing video as usual. What makes it even more special is the fact that you decided to sell this model and then felt like buying it again. This model should never get sold because in my opinion is the one with the most wrist presence of all “sea” related Rolex models. Saying so, I was surprised how well it sits on the wrist. I have the same wrist diameter as yours and this watch wears even smaller and lower than my Tudor GMT wich is a 42mm.
Also compared to a sub, the sub just looked like a dwarf on my wrist when I tried them on back to back.
I couldn’t help but order one :-)
Perfect size, perfect video, perfect watch!
ОтветитьWhat size box is this vs the last? Got the call to pick up mine Monday can’t wait
ОтветитьThe best sea Dweller unboxing in the world, thank you so much 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьRolex should send you a free one. Best review I’ve seen.
ОтветитьExcellent review, thank you. I'm acquiring this Sea Dweller by next week (I wait for it for about 4 months) and it also will be my second Rolex... Cheers!
ОтветитьDo you think I can wear the deepsea with a 20 cm wrist?
ОтветитьI’ve just purchased this watch , I think it’s a perfect watch , just like a large sub date .
ОтветитьI think it's the best Rolex watch at the moment and it's the one i'm gonna get.
ОтветитьI like this so much I bought 2 😋 definitely a sleeper model, wait till it spikes
Ответитьgood video. Thanks I enjoyed
ОтветитьNice watch I may get it
ОтветитьBut I have a better 1 deepsea
ОтветитьThis is gor the old magnify glass
ОтветитьSuper-lateive 🤣
ОтветитьYo
Ответить1. SuPERlative, not superLAYtive'
2. Helium Escape Valve, not Helium Escapement Valve
I love the Sea Dweller, but in the 40mm version. The larger case does nothing for the stats of the watch. It's just bigger to set it apart from the Submariner. To me, the 116600 is the ultimate Sea Dweller. It's built like a tank (like the SD43), but it doesn't look like a tank. It will do everything the 126600 does, just in a 40mm case size.
I don't need a 70 hour power reserve. When you wear it, it will stay wound. If you lay it down for 2 days it stops and you just wind it manually, or you set the time and put it on your wrist.
When you buy a Sea Dweller, it's because you're looking for a Sea Dweller. If you just want a Rolex dive watch, you'd just buy a Submariner. I think of it this way: The Rolex Submariner is the ultimate dive watch. The Sea Dweller is the ultimate Rolex Submariner. That means, the Sea Dweller is a connoisseur's watch. Everybody knows the Submariner. Only those serious about dive watches know the Sea Dweller. Only those serious about Sea Dwellers know about the 116600.
I agree with what you said about the previous Sea Dweller, This just proves again humans like what they can’t have …same thing goes for the entire ROLEX line….Rolex the time piece which beauty and desire lays on its price.
