Incredible speaker, speaks volumes to how I came into being an animal rights activist as well. I too used to be nervous about raising my hand but now whenever I know the animals would like me to speak up, I do so. No injustice lasts forever and I want this particular one to stop sooner than later.

Are we our 'pets' 'owners' and 'masters'? No! Rather we are their 'Guardians' and 'Custodians'. They are our Co-Inhabitants on Earth to be revered as our:-

The problem is that we know what's right but for the sake of a political ideology and pride, many people (mostly conservatives) either choose to be blind and ignore what's happening or mock those people who fight for animal welfare. Apparently, conservatism is like an insult that adds to the injury. I was a hardcore conservative and just like most conservatives, I didn't care about animal rights and welfare, until I learned to love them (it started during the pandemic). I hope everyone will also learn to act ethically, morally, and with compassion, not only to other humans, but to other animals as well.

The United Nations Animal Rights declaration clearly states that animals have a right to be killed humanely and cooked into delicious meals.

Well said, the world is a horrible place for animals. Most people wouldn't unnecessarily harm animals themselves, but the vast majority of people do actually harm animals through the second degree by paying others to do it. You can thrive on a vegan diet, avoid serious medical conditions and lower the risk of many cancers and also heart disease, whilst helping the planet. I urge everyone to give it a go

More than 200 million animals are killed for food around the world every day – just on land. Including wild-caught and farmed fishes, we get a total closer to 3 billion animals killed daily. That comes out to 72 billion land animals and over 1.2 trillion aquatic animals killed for food around the world every year. It’s truly heartbreaking

How to you become a activist in a rule area?? In deep red “trump country”? I’ve had an awakening. I know I need to speak out against the injustice and corruption and reckless in government we make have if republicans get power! Democrats need help how do u get ppl to organize and knock on doors and tell people honestly what’s at stake. Also explain while taking action now with the majority, how they will improve ppl at the bottom! There’s a lot of us. And help allAmericans access to their constitutional rights. Including pursuit of happiness! How long can a country’s people gain wealth when 98-99% of in a few peoples pockets while the rest of us live on poverty wages in rural areas! There should be a living wage. For old and disabled people and people that lose their job to no fault of their own. As The richest country in the world the wealth should be more evenly divided the rich should be taxed and sanctioned for closing a company or factory down to out of the country for cheaper labor while paying no taxes pretty much. That’s just the only way the money will trickle down ti the people. I’m best in educating our children so they are number one in the world. Give them the money and teacher’s to let me learn and develop without so much competition and find their passion so ti speak them help them get that done! We can move this count years into the future if we would stop coddling the rich and powerful and let’s Num one save our planet and stop climate change before it’s too late. We take science serious when it’s building weapons and making all sorts of new technology, let’s trust science just in case how about that? 99% of scientist know we are causing our climate to change it will get worse and will become unsustainable and we will go extinct unless we change our ways!

I have found that inviting friends to lunch often starts the questions as to why I don't eat meat, giving me a chance to explain in a way that is non threatening to them. And when I am laughed at I know I hit a nerve and they are now thinking. Hang in there a day will come when the human race will look at eating meat in disgust.
