There were once two pencils who were brothers. They heard a silly fable and put themselves in the hands of others.

One was put into the hands of a 5 year old, and he was used to scribble meaningless nonsesnse on walls before being chewed down to a stump and thrown away, having produced nothing of any value or note.

The other was put into the hands of a man who used him to write an insanely hateful manifesto before then using the pencil in a different way - he killed another man by stabbing the pencil repeatedly through his eyes.

The moral of this tale is - don't listen to thinly veiled religious nonsense wrapped up in simplistic allegories designed to convince children to hand their personal autonomy over to the purveyors of such crap. You don't know how you may be used. Or abused.

Instead, create your own story. And try to make it uplifting in reality.

Beautiful story EXCEPT for the “but only if you put yourself in another’s hand”… I mean, I get where ya were trying to go with this tail, but that part doesn’t really fit, because when relating this tail back onto ourselves, as people (which I assume is and/or was your goal), what the message portrays or represents is that we should allow someone other than ourself to dictate or control our life, which should NEVER be the case! Perhaps you meant to use empathetic intelligence such as, “put yourself in someone else’s shoes”, which would be much more appropriate. 🤷‍♀️
