I love Sony forever but I can't afford it?

I've just ordered this phone refurbished for a really good price. I'm not a content creator or a photographer. A good camera is a must and excited about its 4k, zoom and slo-mo capabilities. The main reason I chose it however is that I'm sick of companies taking features away. I want expandable storage and I want a headphone jack. I can understand how people were put off by the RRP but I've got at a competitive price so I hope this phone is for me.

I honestly dont get why are phone companies are turning a communication device into a camera ??? Why ?? Who give a flying s....t about a decent built in camera ?? I have a decent camera why would i need another in a phone ffs ?? I want a phone that i can just contact others and dont need to waste electric charging it for hours ( maybe solar charging )
A decent screen .for watching movies .a decent signal wherever you are .wifi included ! Proper waterproof sealed just in case its dropped into water unlike most that boasts they are waterproof when they are not and its just a marketing ploy, one thats completly indestructable and not made of glass like most are and just break if they are dropped .. Even from a height of a foot ..,one that will last me at least a lifetime. Before is starts to get as sluggish as a snail forcing you to take out another mortgage on another fragile P.O.S.!!!!! Thats what i want from a phone ...
This wasteless society and selfie mad " ooh ive gotta spend thousands in a new phone all because its got this ,this,this and f.......g this community that has no sense of the value of money " have no idea ..
The old nokia phones were in my view the best phones .. You could play football with them and they were still working and usable ..i cannot get some rich ass person spending over a grand on a f......g phone .. My car cost less than that we live now in a totally waste less society ..

Any tips on how to prevent the phone from dropping calls constantly, stop disconneting Bluetooth during calls, better sound quality during calls, microphone randomly stops working (headphone jack and bluetooth), better reception, still randomly getting uncomfortably hot etc etc?

The SD card slot is the deal breaker for me, and the headphone jack makes it feel dated. I would rather have more internal storage, even if that meant a higher price tag. I love the design though, I was almost willing to give up my iPhone for it... almost

Is anyone having any hight temp or over heating problem with this phone? Just saw some reviews on the net and it's got good reviews but quite some that keep mentioning a problem of overheating. I got a OnePlus6T atm, any recommendations for a new phone? I just want a 5G android that can play games and watch/listen to stuff in high quality.

I moved myself to Sony Xperia. And I am loving it. The camera is incredible and the battery is perfect when it last a long time. I loved away from SamSung, since their battery exploded, I don't trust their quality no more.

I’ve always loved Sony’s hardware and designs. If only they didn’t use android. I would love to see Sony develop their own OS. Like windows did but with actual app support lol.

I moved away from Sony about 2 years to give Huawei a try and Samsung as well. The sorriest decision I ever made. Love this review and will definitely be returning to Sony again.

About the temperature?

If Sony phones were still offered in Canada, I would absolutely get one phone. But at $2000 cad, that's a bit much

I just wanna see sony release a phone with a TRUE 1 inch sensor, 16-18mp (for printing photos bigger than 8x10), and a nice dark blue/pacific blue color. That’d be the perfect device.

I badly want one, but here in israel, no chance of buying it. No single cellphoneshop in israel sell sony xperia, the last expria i haved and still using it as of this day is xperia zx premium.

in canada you can easily get them for 1300cad, which is basically going to head to head price wise with all the other flagships

What are the main differences between this and the pro I? Idk which one to get, some people say the Pro I is basically a camera with a phone. But this one is an actual smartphone with more features. Is this true? I don't want to buy one or the other and then regret it

im not sure which is better for me, the s22 ultra or the xperia 1 IV. jsut concern about battery life on those 4k screen. I really like when i hold the xperia 1 iii last time it feels good in hand.

for where im from, i can get the S22 Ultra in white, HK version which has dual sim, 256gb for USD 1112.00 USD, AND FOR THE SAME PRICE, i can also get 1 IV in WHITE TOO, 256gb. Im not a heavy user, but i just prefered flagship phone for normal use like social, watching movies, streams. I do not game on phone and im not a camera kind of dude. S pen is a bonus on the S22 but I do found the headphonejack and sd card on xperia more useful. so yeah im torn between these two. or Maybe wait iphone 14 ? ( but i hate ios ).

I love what Sony is doing with their phones, but pricing this $400-500 above the competition and announcing it six months before you can actually buy it... That's just nuts. But phones aren't where they make their money. It's clear that they just don't care how many they sell.

I can't help but feel a bit annoyed as an American customer when as of right now we're ONLY getting the 512 GB model (and without the option for the cool white back that Asia has) with no word from Sony as to whether the 256 GB one will be available here, I'd MUCH rather pay $400 less if it meant getting less storage. Especially when the only option is to import and there you run the risk of less coverage due to Asian and European models using different 4G and 5G bands

Do people even use wired headphones now days?

Samsung exynos Europe edition is not good for the transformative experience, this sony Is better
