Don't try that with a revolver.
ОтветитьTo summarize, it may not prevent firing, but it may give you a little more time, since it'll prevent the handgun from loading the next shot by itself, forcing the shooter to manually unjam it, if you someday end up in a similar situation, at least point the shooter's gun away from you...
ОтветитьBlocking slide movement must increase chamber pressure.
Ответитьdoes the bullet came out when you where holding on the slide?
ОтветитьI just had this exact thought 20min ago. I'm so happy to have found this video. Well done
Ответитьwell if you deleted the "i'm faster than the trigger" BS, this video would be perfect.
ОтветитьWow 10 years old. Also yeah people tend to forget that the gun uses just barely enough energy to cycle the slide, the rest absorbed by the spring. Otherwise the gun would beat itself to breaking with every shot. If you add even a small amount of force to the slide it won't cycle.
ОтветитьI've had to do it in the field and it was no issue. I mean, the person trying to kill me at point blank range was, but grabbing his Pistol wasn't.
Perfect demonstration.
The amount of times I've tried to argue that you can do this and had the response "THE GUN IS TOO POWERFUL, THE SLIDE WOULD SHRED RIGHT THROUGH YOUR HAND" is too high. Thanks for the evidence, and the educational and straightforward video.
ОтветитьWhat was the point y’all was trying to make I really don’t understand
ОтветитьWhat about with an 10mm?
ОтветитьIn your demonstration of the technique only your thumb is holding the slide in place on the far side. In your firing test, your hand is at a different angle and four fingers hold the slide in place. These grips don't match up.
Show what happens when you grab too far down and the bullet in the chamber tears through your hand or your grip isn't tight enough and the gun cycles and spits out a hot shell. Exactly how much tension is necessary to hold the slide in place. People should know the exact amount of confidence to have.
for some reason i knew it was russian before i opened the video
ОтветитьThank you bro, so much. Way more prepared for gunfight or someone with a slide-based pistol
ОтветитьStraight to the point 10/10. Safely doing so 10/10. Subscribed
ОтветитьThe safest way to demonstrate something dangerous. Thank you for the education guys! Bravo
Ответитьhim: *move
the villain: *shoots
him: nah hell naw man
😂😂😂
Ответитьim still not gonna try to go for the slide lol. Even if you get a grip on it. The person on the trigger is always faster so you might not get a desired effect. Lol
Ответитьthis is more believable than the detroit ones.
ОтветитьSo basically even if someone grab your gun you can still shoot him.
ОтветитьBy arresting the slide, the energy is transferred to the frame fairly easily. Almost as easily as it is when you discharge a pistol one handed. He's just transferring that force to the frame of the pistol and is preventing the slide from ejecting, let alone rechambering.
ОтветитьThat old head from instagram tryna get a nigga killed, yea you stopped it from firing but that’s after the first bullet fired so really you not doing nothing you still getting shot either way🤷🏾♂️
ОтветитьSo this way you can only get shot one time instead of multiple times. Pretty useful and gives you more chances.
ОтветитьThe movies lied to us. 💔
ОтветитьFunny 😁😁😁 one bullet is enough to die that's clear 👏👏👏
Ответитьi was going to sub immediately after seeing they go straight to the biz but then i realised i was already subbed.
ОтветитьWhat about when the hammer isn't cocked for that first shot?
ОтветитьUh i think my fingers broke
ОтветитьDo somebody knows what kind of pistol they use?
ОтветитьHand to hand russia will crush us, thank god we got arms
ОтветитьThis is basically firearm safety porn.
ОтветитьD.U.S.T: imma pretend I didn't see that
ОтветитьThe fact this channel went from this to shitposting, and not losing any subs is amazing
ОтветитьCuz it could rerack.
ОтветитьI wonder if Detroit urban training guy got this from you
ОтветитьThis is actually a very good and realistic technique and would really suck to be the gunman in this situation. Because if you grab the gun in a way that prevents the slide from feeding the next round into the chamber and the threat panics and squeezes the trigger, you put him in a situation where if he wants to shoot you he has to reach and cock the slide with his other hand while also fighting to keep you from taking the gun and also likely beating him up, which are two things even the most trained operators out there would have trouble doing at the same time. Though no one with proper training would point a gun at someone at a distance or angle where it can be grabbed in the first place. In this situation from the gunman's perspective he's better off ejecting the magazine and throwing the gun away and using his fists or a knife to incapacitate his opponent, then retrieving the gun and mag when he's in a better position.
ОтветитьPROTIP: Don't try this with a revolver.
ОтветитьDale from Detriot Urban Survival Training: sweating bullets "oh god, why did I tell people that..."
Ответитьmy dude. thank you. much blessings for some facts.
ОтветитьI randomly thought about this on some movie stuff and found this video lol… but would it stop the chambering of the next round? Let’s Say you’re able to “deflect” the first shot in a SD situation
ОтветитьThat's some "John Wick" level shit right there.
ОтветитьAncient media
ОтветитьYou guys rock! Love the videos, competitions, etc. Wish I lived in a place that had more free gun laws.
Ответитьwell that was something
ОтветитьGrab revolver like this can blow your hand
ОтветитьMaybe this is where that D.U.S.T guy got the idea
Ответитьif youve ever used a firearm (real or soft air or any replica that has accurate mechanisms) this is pretty self explanatory
Ответить
